AP jumped the gun on that on IG. Supposedly its still in feasibility study; at least for the US. You and/or your dealer might contact Porsche Spain and inquire with them. There are still country dependent options that don't appear in other countries: like large gas tank is not an option in the US but is in your country.

This. If someone says they have a order in in the US, they are Full of it. No allocations have been given...thats a fact as of this moment in time. Now if you are a 918 VIP....its a different story, but thats the exception.

The 4RS has even lower gearing than the GT3 (quite a bit lower). Can’t imagine fuel economy being much better than in GT3 with the same engine and lower gearing.

I'm not sure on that. The video is misleading here. Afterall the GT4RS runs on smaller tires versus the 992 GT3: 245/255 & 295/315.

In any case, the effective gearing in 4RS is significantly lower than GT3 and the aero profile is not radically more efficient, so I wouldn’t expert better fuel economy than PDK GT3.

I think it’s a bigger gearing difference than that, if you are assuming both cars use the same PDK gearing. Of course the 992 GT3 uses 315 21” wheels (so an additional 5% taller gearing from the wheel diameter) in addition to the taller sidewalls, But I suspect it’s even more than just the tire diameter at play (wouldn’t be surprised if there is bespoke gearing - it certainly looks that way to me).

The lower gearing in the GT4RS is a feather in its cap for those considering a GT4RS vs a GT3. Also makes me interested in a Spyder RS as a companion to my 991.2 GT3.

Does anyone know if the Standard door sills are plastic or non-illuminated Carbon? Wondering if the Illuminated 530$ option is for the Carbon + Illumination, or just the illumination part.
The video of the car around the track shows them in Carbon but no idea about the illuminated part.
