I think you’d still be able to make out if the link is a solid piece or not…. It was the first thing I looked for when the 718 GT4 was launched at Goodwood.
Just got down on the ground, took a look and snapped a pic…

those WP carbon fiber side inlets look very nice and expensive, but will get absolutely destroyed over time on the track and road, does double wrapped carbon look any good, i've never wrapped carbon

Yep, the blurb says toe angle… I want to know exactly what do they mean and is that the rear, by any other means that the eccentric bolt… which we all know is limited.

I just realized that this GT4RS has almost the same MSRP as my 991.1 GT3. I guess one way to find out if this is an upgrade or side step? I hope the driving dynamics will be impressive. Cant' wait!

Pretty sure the 991.1 GT3 started in the low 130’s - 4RS is definitely more. In fact the 4RS is very close to the 991.2 GT3 starting price.

Pricing falls between the 991.1 GT3 and the 991.2 GT3,, and the performance in regards to laptimes falls right between the 991.1 GT3 and the 991.2 GT3 once you take out the improvement due to the Cup 2R's.

Kind of reminds me of the graph that used to be maintained by a fellow member in the past.

Sorry I’m loosing track, the 991.2 had almost the same Msrp and should be a good comparison.

I have to say, this car almost doesn't make much sense at all. For more street driving, the GT4 will be the better option, while for track work, the GT4 RS Clubsport makes more sense.

The only use case this car really makes any sense to me is as a weekend toy that you plan to only drive for an hour or so. Much longer than that, and the volume levels would get on your nerves.
For street driving, the GTS4.0 will be the better option to either of these. For the track... most people can't afford all the extra stuff needed to run something like a Clubsport. The RS is perfect for being able to drive to and from the track and just drive and have fun.

I've got a 991.2 GT3 right now and if the world sees fit to let me trade it for one of these, I'll be happy to report back on that comparison. Looking at the numbers, it looks like a dead heat to me. In my rather amateur hands, it would be interesting to see what happens. Do I go out and set new PB's with this car or do I struggle to match my current times? I sure hope we get to answer that...

This car is definitely quicker than 991.2gt3 on most tracks.
Price is actually similar to 992gt3 with wp, as AP said 90% buyers would select the wp.
The performance are set very closely to 992gt3.
