Thanks for the pics halfmonkey. Enjoy all those close up details on the RS, they are pretty cool.

@halfmonkey what did you think of the color in person? Think the current offering of harness bars will work with the new engine cover, without limiting exposure to airbox?
Sorry but I don’t know enough about the bars and how they’ll mount to answer your question.

Correct. I read a quote from AP that said when they took the first test mule out, it was TOO loud so they had to tone it down. AP said there are no sound trick or fake noises coming from the speakers. It’s all 100% real intake sound.

Can someone look under the car and tell us if it comes with adjustable rear toe arms as standard please?

The color and the wheels are growing on me. At first I was like, meh, not so great. But the more I look the more I like. Question is (from another thread poll on color) is this the color that will be most popular? I guess, who cares, get what you like. For me living in a small market chances of seeing another are rare. But PTS is still on my mind. Most disappointed in suspension and tire size. I realize new suspension wasn't in the cars, but Porsche should have put a bit more effort into adding more width for a bit more grip. I suspect that can still be accomplished by what other have done with their GT4.

Will be like a Ninja Bike at full throttle!
I see why AP compared it to riding a motorcycle.

Glad I lost enough hearing in my misspent youth to be prepared to drive this thing!

I have to say, this car almost doesn't make much sense at all. For more street driving, the GT4 will be the better option, while for track work, the GT4 RS Clubsport makes more sense.
The only use case this car really makes any sense to me is as a weekend toy that you plan to only drive for an hour or so. Much longer than that, and the volume levels would get on your nerves.

What you see is the actual airbox top.
This car not for the folks complaining about the Sound Symposer in the regular GT cars.

PTS
Who is doing PTS? Any ideas on when the first US builds with PTS will arrive?
My dealer submitted a PTS build request for April.

It definitely takes this car out of street driving, daily driver category, which I guess is the point of this car.

But, this is definitely not a daily driver.

Sorry if this was covered above in this rather long thread, but why does the 4RS need 4 air intakes when the gt3 just has the two? Is the air pressure under the wing greater than on the sides? Does it pull some from underneath? Am I missing something obvious?
Can cars pull intake air from underneath, and if so, could that be the answer to the spyder rs air intake question?
Musings.

The prior inlets are now only for engine cooling…aka, it was part of the body design that was no longer needed but they couldn’t just remove it, so now they call it “engine cooling.”
So, maybe the 4RS is air cooled and water cooled.
