Probably. My car was like that, but it ticked 9/10 boxes. And insanely small ADM. Could not say that about another socal dealer I talked to. Disappointed but not surprised. Guessing this is the game others here have been playing for years.

agree with all this, the GT4 RS is a relative bargain in AU, if you skip WP its about $335k, my 992 GT3 spec is $420k, have been told that the upcoming 992 GT3 RS will be in the $520-$550k range and with WP around $600k. of all GT cars I've owned, RS's etc, its the manual 981 GT4 that I miss the most.

Totally bizarre because all Porsches are custom builds. They are either spec’ed by the dealer or the customer. Perhaps they just want to ensure they are all as expensive as possible. Perhaps if you agree to their usual add-one like navigation they will honor you with a choice of color at least
Eventually the economy will turn on the dealerships and I hope we remember the ones that treated us well when they didn’t have to.

Ok. I am going back and forth on WP/no WP and pretty much booted on the wheels altogether. You could pass on them and get 2 great sets of Forgelines.
And then…this picture. They look really, really sharp.

Not in the least. It looks like a mock up test mule, rather than a refined finished product. It appears that they spent zero time trying to design an RS treatment consistent with the lines of the Cayman, and instead just slapped on **** they had in the 991 RS parts bin. And forgot to paint it. I think the car’s a beast, but it looks like ***.

Personally, I don’t like the fender slits and find it interesting NO ONE wants to talk about them in any video including AP who just glossed right over them. IMO they look crude. All the RS cars a bit over the top to my eye, this one is no different. Maybe it’ll look better in person (992 is this way for me).

I asked about the sound level in another thread. i'm thinking they are taking the RS models more hard-core and some don't realize it yet. The GT4RS looks like it will be legit race car loud in the cabin, and the 3RS looks more hard-core than ever (huge wing, etc). Buying the RS cars to drive around town it going to make less sense than ever. I wonder if some of the GT4RS buyers are going to be overwhelmed by how not street friendly this car may end up being. Time will tell.
