More than 460 is just a dream. The rest would come from aero and supension...ahhh lets not forget CL to please everyone!
But I keep wondering why we don't see a car with no or minimal camouflage. GT3 is out (even there are GT3RS mules around)....and things keep being passed on to the CSs.

Where did the 997 GT3RS 4.0 align in terms of price and power increase? Was it linear or slightly more than the trend from regular GT3RS of the time?... whatever that line was, is likely where GT4RS will increase in price and performance vs. GT4.
I'm highly intrigued by the two different versions though with the fender blisters and different window intake... that's not just a weissach appearance package... that's actual parts differentiation.. and presumably some kind of "plus" package...
Considering Manthay racing just went in-house, my prediction is we will have a GT4rs and a GT4rs MR... just like with the clubsport.

All that drama with the window vents seems like a bit much for a 15 hp bump they could get from ECU tuning though.

+ 15 hp....why bother?
also, doesn't fit the scenario
all of the greedy dealers asking for $100k ADMs
if you think the GT3 ADMs are bad, just wait for the ask on the GT4RS

The bigger question is will it be worth it.
Assuming only a modest power increase, I wonder how the standard GT4 will compare when you do the few common upgrades like a good alignment, rear-end toe links, and adjust the aero settings.
Unless they do something crazy, for those looking for more that what you can get out of the GT4 with the few mods mentioned, I would think someone would just look to a club sport if their intention is more tracking and skip the RS.
Maybe it will be more of a bragging rights car.

Also, we shouldn't underestimate the value of being able to drive your car to and from the track without needing a trailer. I see the niche within a niche within a niche carved out bu the GT4RS as being a pretty desirable one.
I define it as:
-you like the Gt3 but you miss the mid-engine sound and feel.
-you love the Gt4 but hate the weak engine but don't like the idea of going to demann to spend $50k on the 4.5L engine
-you love then Gt4 Clubsport and think it's the most fun car you've ever driven (me) but don't have room or time to deal with trailering a racecar on slicks (also me).
-the idea of a 2015 991.1 GT3 PDK for track use isn't exclusive enough even though it's same price and likely better performance than GT4RS because you're a poseur of the highest order amd having something factory fresh and new makes your ***** tingle (also also me).
Then, the GT4RS IS FOR YOU! (also me)

I think the occasional track day car is of key importance for this model. Yes, some will buy it for just street use but others who are looking for a very good and economical track day car is justification in and of itself. For me, I cite the following key elements of benefit:
1) Fast enough to provide a challenge for even the most experienced drivers
2) Mid-engine balance which allows the car to be more easily pushed to its limits
3) Relatively low priced consumables e.g., brakes, tires, 5 lug wheels
4) Strong choice of tires both street and track e.g., Michelin, Goodyear, Pirelli, Hoosier
5) Strong aftermarket parts e.g., harnesses, roll bars, data logging
6) Manufacturer who readily supports track usage
7) Relatively quite for those tracks/HPDEs which have 90-92 db sound limits
8) Low cost of entry and ownership for the level of performance offered

Most sports cars are about bragging rights. And many basic cars can be modded to beat their upmarket siblings. It's just something about being given the superior package in a Fresh new factory fresh box which somehow gets peoples ***** tingling. Think about the CXX Porsche door stickers on 991 GT3.. no performance improvement necessary and yet people paid $1000+ to have a vinyl sticker on their car's factory window sticker.
