Here are PAG’s WW delivered numbers

https://newsroom.porsche.com/en/2023...022-30886.html

982s down both PAG and NA; 992 numbers up. Clearly the 911 has been prioritized — which is no surprise

Ah, thanks. With coffee, that should have occurred to me.

Over 2:1 911 to 718 last year, globally. In 2021 they delivered 20,502 718s globally.

Here are the US delivery numbers. 718 is such a small part of PCNAs overall sales mix.
Mmm, this means I have 949 cars more for 2022 in my spreadsheet, and 615 more for 2021.
The interesting part is that each VIN I have is a real VIN that was received from Porsche.

Kindly, old news. It's been pretty well documented many times on this forum, with multiple peoples/multiple different dealers all saying the same thing.

I had put a deposit for a slot on a GT4 back in September and got the call last week that I was able to proceed forward with a June delivery date. Sadly I got a phone call an hour ago from my dealer telling me the full bucket seats were not available which is a deal breaker for me. He couldn’t give me any timeline when they might be made available again. I would assume many of us who are ordering GT cars expect them to have the full buckets due to the track usage many experience. Does anyone have any insight into when they may become available again?

No but if this is at MSRP I would take it and retro the buckets later. No way would I pass on the GT car given the circumstances.

There's no info out there that can provide us with a date. But multiple dealers have told me March is a month to look out for. Sadly, it appears Porsche is saving them all for the RS models. Hopefully this gets resolved because I would love to have the buckets on my April build also.

Curious - What ADM is your dealer offering? That makes a huge difference on keeping or passing the allocation.

Hopefully you've been reading through this thread. Many have said there will be no more allocations for these cars (at least for 2023, but sounds like the run will be done after thr current allocations.)

While I agree that the buckets are important, you're going to have to decide whether you want a new car or be stuck buying used to get those buckets.

Caveat that I don't know more than anyone else....

You’re nuts bro. I would sit on any one of the below just to have gotten my hands on a GT4 allocation, and I could have spec’d them on my GT4, but I went with 2 Ways. Take what you can get, and spend the same loot or less on a really nice set of aftermarket racing seats; then flip the ones you spec’d after delivery. Heck, you might end up getting lucky with LWB’s becoming an option again before your freeze date. The only thing I cared about from factory was my choice of color.

Yeah there is no way I'd pass on a GT4 allocation at this point. No buckets is a bummer, but I'm still taking the car and figuring out seats later. My two cents.

Different strokes for different folks. It's an interesting phenomenon watching people tell others what they should value and how to spend their money. Everyone has deal breakers, the seats just happened to theirs.

Just my two cents. I and many others know how hard allocations are to come by now. If you pass, you probably aren't getting another chance to spec your own car and will have to settle for what's on the market.

Anyways, if he/she passes on the allocation, hopefully the dealer gives the car to another enthusiast and doesn't just dealer spec it and sell it for some crazy markup.

And if they don't pass, they have to settle for not getting an option that is a deal breaker for them, and likely have to pay a higher price than on a used vehicle that has that option. In what way is that better?
