I find this passionate debate about PCCBs and LWBS entertaining. It’s a car, if you want them get them. If not don’t. Plenty of passionate car people choose either. But if someone says they’re not going to buy an incredible sports car that is disappearing because they can’t get self dimming headlights (PDLS+), maybe they need to rethink their car choice! 🤣

I mean, it's not like a dealer allocation is the only way to get one. If you can't spec the options thay are important to you, I could definitely see going for an inventory car or a used car instead, especially given the cars on lots aren't selling for $25k over any more.

Yes, even a broker posted on here saying they could get a break on the ADM for a GT4 because options aren't available.

Oh don't get me wrong I totally agree with you. But I have seen my fair share of people on here saying that the LWBS were a deal breaker, or even the PDLS+ being a deal breaker.

For me the biggest deal breaker was actually the PDK but like you said, at the end of the day, if I couldn't have gotten it in PDK I would have just chosen a different car.

I think LWB is the most important option on the car. Personal opinion of course.

I secured a GT4 allocation early this month. Have been working with a local dealer for about 6 months. They received one GTS allocation in Dec and not a single GT4 (for reference on how few allocations there are, I live in one of the 10 largest cities in the US and we have only 2 dealers here) I took the GTS allocation at MSRP with no adm.

Then on New Year's Eve the SA reached out to me with a GT4 allocation from the fall that a customer backed out on so I switched over to the GT4. Finalized my build the first week of Jan. Racing yellow, PCCBs, Leather interior with Yellow stitching and belts, Carbon buckets and PDLS, plus a few other minor interior options. Since I took over an order that was already placed with PCCBs and Buckets before the Dec cutoff I was able to keep them on the build. Enters production next month and arrives mid April.

$132k MSRP with a $5k adm.

That is a score of biblical proportions right now. All the desired (and impossible to get) options and a measly $5K slap at the same time? Well done.

You know, if they were OEM heat capable and had even just a tad more adjustability I'd agree with you. But alas they don't.

You sure you got PDLS+ and not regular PDLS? Those are not available for nearly a year now if I am not mistaken

It hasn't been a year. It's been less than six months.

And the dude's lock date was a week ago, so he shouldn't be able to get it
