Seems fairly clear that MY23 is the end of GT4/Spyder, and any remaining allocations have been dispersed to dealers. Whether or not dealers have handed out all allocations to customer remains to be seen. All that being said, the cars have had a 4 year production run (2020-2023), so it's not some ultra rare model. Used ones will continue to pop up. If you want to spec your own GT4/Spyder, time is or has run out. If you're ok with a used one and flexible on options, you'll be able to get one.

This is the 4th year for the 718 GT4. Is this the longest run for a Porsche GT car? The 981 was one year.

4 model years would be the longest run for a Porsche GT car without a ".x" revision.

Although the 981 GT4 US production was only 1 model year, they built about 2000 US cars for that one 2016 GT4 model year. By contrast, the largest US 982 GT4 model year we know of so far was 2020, with 763 USA cars sold. 2021 US GT4 was in the 600-some range, and we don't know what 2022 US production was or what 2023 would be. But I think anecdotally, we can assume they are even lower US GT4 production numbers for 2022 and whatever in 2023.

would 2021 be considered a "revision"? That was the first year with the GT4 with a PDK.

No I do not believe so. Revisions are like 991.1 to 991.2

Though a very substantial one, the 718 is essentially a revision of the 981.

yeah i can see that being the case. I think because its across 2 platforms and there was a 4 year gap, some may not consider it a revision and more just the next model.

Have a GT4 allocation from a northeast dealer, April delivery, 20k over MSRP.

I want to add a data point on the amount of cars available for 2023. My dealer (4th largest in the US) received 1 GT4 and 1 Spyder allocation for the whole year. No GTS variants. Sure seems like things are winding down quickly.
