Dealer Allocation Tracker

You’re talking about what Porsche dealerships are allowed to do legally. I’m talking about how Porsche dealerships should conduct themselves. Some do, most don’t. I get it; I’m crying.

I don't disagree with any of that. As plenty have said on here previously, if you ain't V200, you don't have ****.
This would be my first Porsche, and Porsche North America referred me to this dealership after an event they invited me to, so I'd be lying to say this hasn't put a bad taste in my mouth, but I'm not losing sleep over it. It's not how I would do business, but it is what it is.
Do I think there is value on not jerking around someone who is entering the brand in an effort to help create dealership/brand loyalty? Yes, but I also think they're willing to gamble that I'm going to like the car and brand regardless of whatever ****ty process they put me through, and I hate to admit it, but they're probably right.
So dear other manufacturers, if you can create a car that competes with what I'd get out of a GT4 without jerking me around for a year, the inbox is open. Otherwise, I'm still typing on Rennlist

15 on a list at my dealer for base 718s.
Relationship, out of market, ADM, past purchase history, etc all in play and meaningful. These RL stories pretty one sided. Everyone getting a car has a story.
I still go in to my local liquor store even though they have my preferred drink on the shelf for 3 X MSRP…depending on what I spend in there might get it for 2 X MSRP.

Just stopped by at the dealer today and gave them an additional deposit for pts, SA said that 5/16 was the last date for submitting if I wanted to go with pts. Currently V110, showed end of September for the production date, but was told thats more of a placeholder and can change until pcna approves the pts request and it goes to v200. Pccb's were available but I went with irons. This is for an rs.

I got a MY'22 allocation, the only thing was I could not spec it with a cage for some reason. Which is ok as I can just do an aftermarket later. And 6 point harnesses don't look to be bolted to the cage.

Can you say more about when you first asked for an allocation, how long you waited, where are you located (approx obviously, doesn't have to be too specific), what model, and if you paid an ADM or MSRP? Good details that help the group out here as we all search for some of these unicorn allocations...

My car is PTS for reference also. Estimated build is mid September,

Hi there, I am in Australia, paid MSRP - GT4RS - deposit down for 5 months at two dealerships and waited to see which came up first! Think I was quite lucky as someone pulled out and I got a call saying I could get a build slot but had to lock it that day. Build is June/July delivery in Oct.

I’m still not sure if I’ll take the allocation - been waiting a year and was originally told MSRP. Now saying 25k ADM. I get it, but that was also the outside budget for options… suddenly it has become a $150-$160 car after tax, etc.
Anyone have thoughts on what ADMs will do over the next 6 months?

as someone who hates ADM and will never pay one if I can help it - If you can afford the ADM and you want the car, pay it. The time horizon to get a car is shrinking fast. If you pass on this you might not have another opportunity before production ends on the Spyder. Assume MY23 is the last run of the regular Spyder and MY24 is only the “RS” variant of the Spyder. That’s it, folks.

Is the 2025 EV timeframe driven by something outside of Porsche's control (regulations, etc.)? If it's their own date, then I'm very skeptical that it's not being used to spur a lot of sales and they can easily suddenly 'change their minds' and make more ICE cars if they are making high profits hand over fist.

No, but this happened to me about a week ago on the day I was supposed to schedule production. I couldn’t access it for about 12 hours and convinced myself my dates were slipping. Turns out, I didn’t have to worry: when it came back, dates were all still the same.
