Maybe. Or maybe it's hopium to think that things are headed back down. My guess is that it's only old man winter that is dampening demand. Once spring/summer roll in and there's few cars to be had demand will go back up. Especially if 2022 is the end of the line for the Spyder and GT4s.

I'm on a 2 year timeline for a GTS delivery so I have all the time in the world to find out. I hope.

I think winter isn't really a factor for new cars that are gonna be delivered in the summer. It's definitely a factor for the used cars on sale right now, but it looks like dealers are just waiting it out for spring rather than lowering prices by much.

Hard to say what will happen with GT4 prices if it's now the end of the line. My guess is that used prices will stay stable or deflate a bit while the GT4RS is in production. For the ar least 6-8 months now dealers have been swinging for $20-30k over MSRP on used GT4s and few seemed to bite. Maybe high GT4RS markups will make GT4 prices seem more palatable though.

Hi everyone, looking for some advice. I recently was going to purchase a CGTS 4.0 at sticker that wasn't exactly how I was going to spec it, so i backed out of the deal.

I have the option to order a CGTS 4.0 with a $5000 ADM. My question is, are people beginning to see the ADM go away on the CGTS, getting worse, or staying the same. I can afford the $5000k, but want to ensure I am making the right decision or hold out and wait.

Thank you in advance!

Not a fan of ANY ADM, but for $5000 for that car, I would. Hate myself for even saying that. But I would.

I have found three dealers willing to take V070's for no ADM's, and 4 requiring ADM's in the past two weeks. With that said, none of them have an allocation available. There have been a couple of guys on here in the last few days who have had allocations at no ADM's. I am very much against ADM's. With that said, $5k for an ADM is about as low as you are ever going to see on this type of car. The choice is yours.

I would grab, I'm looking for a BGTS allocation and was told 15k ADM, no way I am paying that, but for 5k I will probably bite....

I just put my name on the list for a 718 Spyder at Marin Porsche in Northern California. There were 7 people ahead and the dealer does not charge an ADM. I'm looking at doing a PTS, which the dealer does enough of to not have to wait for a specific window they said, with a good amount of options. Looking at $130-$140-ish.

I've got a long time frame as I'd like to do Euro delivery between June and August 2023. Time is on my side, but I'm curious if the Spyder will exist for the 2023MY.

I know it's a crystal ball at this time, but curious if folks have any advice or insights into the lifespan of the Spyder. Also, if anyone happens to know the voodoo of Porsche allocations, I'd love some knowledge? I've got an 88 911. Does PCA membership matter? Does the price of your spec matter?

Also, if by change anyone has any lines on a reliable Spyder allocation in CA, let me know.

Thanks for any answers you all may be able to share!

Damn. I tried to get an allocation there recently and had no luck. And you just walked into an MSRP PTS deal? Lucky.

Wish you the best of luck on this, but I don't think time is your friend is this case...

I think it may. The common wisdom was the more options the more discount you could get in the past. Should work in reverse, too. The more options you buy, the less difference there is vs. low spec + ADM.

I got a "test call" about potential BGTS allocation. I did mention I'll buy one at ~$110k MSRP (which is not exactly poverty spec). Got the allocation next day...

Good point about the options. My potential BGTS build is > $110k but I didn't mention that when looking for an allocation. Still waiting to hear back from a few people, but currently only have a 15k ADM offer that I turned down (SoCal).

Appreciate the info.

So I've been reading about the Car Carrier "Felicity Ace", sailing from Emden, Germany to the US with many Porsches on board.

This ship has caught Fire and has been abandoned at sea.

I think any allocations will be further delayed and Porsche now needs to replace some inventory lost prior to delivery.

I just got my name on the list. Not an allocation. I'm in for a long wait, if it ever materializes.

You’re 8th on a list? Is it a large dealership? How many per year have they been receiving?

We’re probably at about 1500 or less after 3 years of production and 200 dealers in the US…do the math.

No one knows when the Spyder won’t be offered, just guesses.

I’d be suspect what they tell you as that line about PTS is BS.

Good luck, Are you amicable to ADM?
