LOL. I couldn't tell you why, but I believe my dealer. I also believe that if they ever do get an allocation for me, they won't charge me an ADM as they've said. Call me gullible!
yes… and I believe in Santa and the Easter bunny! 🤣🤣🤣
I have 12,500 miles on my 2020 GT4, purchased in August 2020. Just had a 3rd party valuation done for insurance and it came in at $125,000. A $120K MSRP sticker, and I had no ADM.
So these do hold value. I'm not sure what to make of the goofy ADMs.
Hey there - i'm thinking about a new cab. So is that a 3 month wait list for the cab?
I am trying to figure out what to expect when placing my initial "get in line" fee next month for a 911 Cab. I have two competing interests - one is to try and get delivery before my 30th birthday next December, and the second is to make sure I'm 100% happy with my current job, one year in, and receive the promotion I was essentially promised to receive in the Spring of '22 all before actually placing the order for the car.
So how long is it taking people getting in line to actually get their allocation? I would rathe wait to get the allocation in late April/May even if that means I don't get delivery until after my birthday.

I would say timing is everything as is location and buyers, I always say don't confuse asking price with selling price...

Exactly. Looking at a lot of these cars advertised at $15k or more over, they've been on sale for months. Some of them seem to have even traded hands between dealerships after having failed to sell to a customer earlier in the year. Seems like dealers are softening prices a little bit but holding out hope that they'll find that one buyer who will pay the markup they're hoping for.
Not me, I am but a fringe player, I knew I wanted a Spyder so I got in real early and the market is so different in Canada as compared to the US... all I meant was the market changes constantly around supply and demand, so much so that I couldn't begin to predict it.
Porsche of Tucson (my dealer) just got a Gentian Blue Metallic 2022 CGTS, with 160 miles on it, as a trade-in. It has Premium package, PDK, 18-way seats, and fire extinguisher.

I think and hope you're right. I'm never paying $25K over for a Spyder so I'll just have to wait it out. I will pay something over MSRP for the right car, though, so if anyone has a 718 Spyder they want to move on from please send me a PM. No black. I can't keep that color clean.

I mean wintertime is fast approaching, prices soften this time of year as it is
January is a great time to be a buyer of these vehicles, call your northern dealerships if they have one you like on their lot!
