No...I did the same with my 981 BGTS, and am also wondering if it was a mistake to move on. The dealer said they'd be getting plenty of future 718 Spyder allocations, so I didn't think anything of it at the time, but that was in August. It has been crickets ever since.

That's waht I'd love to know. I know Gt3s were advertised to be available along side 3RS and 2RSs but I dont know anyone that bought one new at that time to confirm.

My thoughts are we'll likely see the GT4 as listed as available but it probably won't be or will be in ultra limited production. I do know they have done that previously with other cars.

My dealer seems strangely confident that my demand order for a GT4 will be satisfied via an allocation in late November. Being first in line this long has not had its own reward.
Watched two customers receive their GT3s last week. Doh!

For what its worth, I am also hearing the same thing from a couple of DFW dealers so hopefully more data points means a greater likelihood it’s true (or just more of us being fed the same line…).

My SA is just "hopeful" for a Nov allocation at this point and not promising anything (corresponded last week). I give him points for honesty, and can only imagine how frustrating it is on that side of the desk right now. I've only been waiting since late March / early April for a BGTS allocation though, so ausgang has me beat by a few months!

Mine told me I'm not But they said that even at #3 there's still a decent chance it'll get fulfilled. Since it's a GT4 we'll see...

I am 3rd but for a spyder allocation. Talked with dealer today he says he did not get any allocations in October but expects some in November. It would be nice to believe but I dont think an allocation will happen with me being 3rd.
Thankfully fall is in the air here in the Northeast so i can put this wait on the back burner. The worst part is not knowing for me anyways.

LOL. I couldn't tell you why, but I believe my dealer. I also believe that if they ever do get an allocation for me, they won't charge me an ADM as they've said. Call me gullible!
