Already on 2 lists 3 and 4 in line at msrp but was offered a April build for spyder at $22,000 over MSRP I thought long and hard for a couple hours but did not pull the trigger I dont know if I will end up regretting that decision or not. But I really dont know how many dealers will even hold true to there word to sell these cars at msrp with the way things are going right now.

Looks like I better make some more calls. I also started August - like very end of August, and added another dealer close to me. Both at MSRP. There's a 3rd I'm going to try in next day or two.

After calling over 130 dealers in the US in August as a remote(I am in pnw) and first time Porsche buyer (getting the full spectrum of post covid dealer responses), and putting down a lot of deposits, I just received a msrp gt4 allocation today from an East coast dealer. The actual production date is currently expected to be in April 2022. Looking back, it's a very inefficient system but there are some MSRP allocations out there and calling around absolutely helps. The allocations are not evenly distributed based on the distribution of potential gt4 buyers and there are localized hot spots and cold spots that one can discover and leverage to increase their chance of getting an allocation.

I just got my Spyder allocation on November 3, 2021. Put my deposit in March 27, 2021. My dealer indicated that I have a production spot, now I'm waiting on a PTS spot. I can already start tracking the process on MyPorsche website. Super cool.

Well, this is a real gut punch: put a deposit down 3/5/21 for a GT4. All along, my dealer told me I was #1 on their wait list and, more importantly, that there would be no ADM. Just got an email from my SA asking him to call him. Allocations arrived yesterday; now they need a $25k ADM.

Hello all, new here. I've been on our local dealerships list since mid-summer like many of you. Unfortunately, we didn't get any new allocations in Wisconsin. I recently circled back to a few dealerships that I spoke with over the summer and found 2 available allocations - ADM of $25k & 30k. More than I personally would spend but if anyone wants those names feel free to message me.

I'm curious if they're firm on the $25k or just a negotiation ploy to ultimately get some ADM and make you feel like you got a better deal?

I find this behavior absolutely ridiculous, but I fear the same thing may happen to me if I'm lucky enough to get an allocation in the future.

FYI: My SA did say this is the last of the GT4 allocations they expect to get.
