Every now and then I pop back into this thread and read all the excitement and it takes me back Anticipation, watching hundreds of YouTube reviews, minor panic attacks (OMG WHAT DID I JUST COMMIT MYSELF TO?)

I'm excited for each of you guys - hopefully you're able to get actual allocations Buying mine was probably the best thing I've ever done - definitely a dream come true.

Sometimes I think about trading mine in for a '22 allocation, just to do it all over again (plus the winter is coming so my '21 will be parked anyways) but I wouldn't change the options list much (or at all....) so I'd rather have something to look at and make vroom-vroom sounds over the winter in!

Porsches are in very short supply. Supply chain issues, chip shortages, and limited materials. My dealership has no new Porsches available. The only thing new on the showroom floor ----- the electric Porsche bicycle.

A dealer near me also doesn't have much in the way of new inventory...but they do have an amazing Carrera GT and a 356 on the showroom floor.

Let's try to restrict comments on this thread to actual dealer 718 4.0 allocation information.

There have at least been 2022 GT4 and Spyder allocations already so at least that is a sign there should be more at some point.

When I took delivery this week my dealer was still thinking my GT4 would be the only one they'd get this year. Feels weird knowing I have the only MY22 in the city.

Their showroom looked cool being completely filled with used 911s and cayman/boxsters and only 1 new cayenne.

Anything since July, which wasn’t an ADM allocation that’s been sitting a while? Not that I’ve heard, but I could have missed it, of course.

I haven't read 100% of the posts either, but I just think it was gts or bgts allocations for nov-jan delivery that people were getting in july. I know most of us with GT4 allocations had end of july build dates with delivery dates of right around now that we all got between end of march- early june.

Seems GT4/spyder allocations aren't consistent over the year right now. We had a dead spell between december and april when there was zero allocations also.

It is not necessarily a good assumption that Porsche will do a full 2022 model year build for the GT4 and Spyder.

Look at the 991.2 GT3 model run. US 2019 991.2 GT3s are very rare because production ended in Q1 2019.

As I've theorized previously in this thread, I think that we'll see the GTS 4.0 cars production flowing until at least 2024. If you want a GTS, they should eventually be available. But it might already pretty much be the end of the line for the 718 GT variants for now until the RS model is released.
