Looking for a 718 GT4 Allocation. Open to Location/Timing. About to call every dealership in north america and do recon. If anyone could save me a few of those phone calls it would be greatly appreciated. Willing to wait just trying to find a list with a good chance of securing one anytime in the next year or by end of production whichever is first. Thanks for any and all help.

Every single person on this forum should call, take up lots of time with questions, then when they say $10k ADM, politely tell them how unacceptable that is and hang up.

I don’t really find it unacceptable in the current market conditions. If you don’t want it, move on.

Pricing is whatever the market will bear for those able to pay the cost. If no one buys the car at their ADM they will eventually lower their price until it sells. I have little doubt it will find a buyer before it gets to MSRP - given that many will not want to want six months to a year - or maybe even never if they don't jump on it.

I hear ya, it just irks me. ADM's irk me. It's a new product, which has an MSRP. And to some extent, I understand that a dealership is struggling with limited supply. And I understand time is money, and depending on which side of the equation you have more of, you may be willing to pay an ADM. But I can't help but be irked.
Oh, and the used car market is totally different IMO, in part because no two used cars are the same.
No harm intended. I'll go back behind my curtain now. Carry on with the show. :-D

I was recently at the Austin dealership and was a bit surprised to find they only have three cars left on the new car showroom floor, an ice-blue Taycan and two Cayennes. I mentioned it to my SA and he said that the two Cayennes were actually loaners they had placed on the floor just so it didn't look so bare. He said that the current scarcity of cars was really hurting the dealership's bottom line. I can see why they might want to ask premiums for what they do have. I felt quite lucky to get mine at MSRP - something I don't think I've ever settled for before. But even that was only because I had previously bought two 911s from them and have a history of servicing them there as well.
The one pricing I really have a hard time wrapping my head around is the lightly used 2019 911 Speedster they have there - listed at $479k!

$479k for a lightly used speedster - unreal
That is terrifying, wrt the dearth of inventory.

Try contacting Kasia at McKenna Porsche in SoCal; as I said earlier they had at least 2 Spyder allocations, but I did not ask about GT4s.

Thanks for the info.
For anyone looking they have 1 spyder allocation ready to go. Sounds like there will be a decent markup on it. No gt4 allocations.......

My SA just emailed me that they are "expecting several allocations at the end of this month" for FWIW.
