Thank you for the encouragement. I just started calling around and collecting some data from dealers about ADM, waitlist length, and the number of allocations they got from the previous 12 months.
Besides the bay area in California that always seems to have an allocation at a big ADM I'm in Canada so can't help you there. My understanding is Porsche dealers in the states are pretty friendly to out of state buyers unlike in Canada so if I was you and you don't mind a small ADM (or if you have a big budget build i'd expect no ADM) I'd just build a porsche in the configurator, save the code, and start emailing a salesman at each dealer and see who bites.

Then if it was at a dealer far away, I'd take delivery at PEC LA or atlanta if you're close and drive it home rather than getting it shipped across the country.

Until you can buy a Kia without ADM, it’s pretty unrealistic to think you can get a gt4 without ADM.
just saying, times be crazy. Shortages and delays everywhere. Markets have gone bonkers. Life is short. If I found any allocation, I’d consider taking it. Or buy auction / off the lot.

Thanks for the tips. I already called over 50 dealers in US and it's interesting to see how dealers from different regions vary so much. Unfortunately I haven't had much luck finding any dealer with reasonably long waitlists and no/minimum ADM.

I passed on a $10k ADM GT4 from Chicago a month or so ago. Keeping my order at my local dealer at MSRP. I'm first in line, so whenever that comes...

When you get your MSRP GT4, you'll feel like that $10K you saved was earned. Treat yourself to a Milgauss or a trip to Aspen.

If you really want a watch like that, I would start bugging your AD now.

A professional series Rolex is not that much easier to get than a GT Porsche. Some are double MSRP in the grey market. Makes ADM on a 100k car cheap by comparison!

True enough. I love Rolex design, but people often assume they're fake. That's why I wear an IWC and will next buy a JLC. Also, I hate the cyclops. I like Panerai, but my wrist is too small for the new models. I tried on a Submersible. It looked more like a falconry wrist-guard than a watch.

But Rolex watches do hold their value. Three things hold value: Porsches, Rolex watches, and Gibson guitars.

I'm not a watch person, but I can appreciate them. I have a lowly apple watch.

fwiw, I came across a supposedly open December allocation selling at $15k ADM at Porsche Norwell on my journey to call 100 dealers in US. I passed it given I am only looking for an allocation selling for MSRP. Hope this lead will help folks who are interested.

I was at McKenna Porsche today and they have at least two Spyder allocations for next year available. Did not ask about GT4s though.

I wonder if they have been sitting on them(for ADM) or if PAG let out another round of allocations?
