When you put the money down did you get a copy of the schedule? Is your order status V070 or V200?

As I understand it, once your order goes V200 you'll get a production schedule with dates, and your order has been "accepted" by the factory.

If you're only V070, then nothing is guaranteed.

I signed my order on March 1st

On March 9th I got these dates:MY 2021
Factory: 04.06
Shipment: 25.06

After the 4.0 engine recall thing I asked if it's still valid and they did say delivery still late June early July.

Day before they got the Boxster GTS 4.0 allocation they also asked if I'm not interested in a GT4 because that was free. Not much interest for these in my region it seems? (southern Poland).

I do have to note that the guy that ordered a 4.0 before me waited 6 months for the allocation alone so I guess I also got pretty lucky (lucky to be allowed to spend $120k on a car, lol)

I was told it’s coming in Apr, then May, now I hear Jun. not sure what to make of it, but the source is a very reliable source that keeps missing it.

I was told today allocations are coming 3rd week in May.

It’s because Porsche recently sent a note to all its dealer network informing them that 718 allocations are pushed back. So June may be a reasonable date when April and May were blown past without anything.

This would align with the pushback. Usually allocations are given up and 2 months later is production. So June allocation release for Sept/Oct build holds water.

I got an early 22 allocation a couple of weeks ago. Supposed to arrive end of July.
