Daisy Leader is still out at sea. It should be hitting Hueneme Port tomorrow and then Long Beach a day later and then San Diego a day or two after that. Porsche doesnt have any facilities at Hueneme so i believe any cars wont be processed will Long Beach or San Diego.

Yeeeey! Lucky you. Ha ha. By the way, how long was your wait, since freeze date?

. I think we're on the same boat. My freeze date was 6/17, and although dealer said my car started production 7/01, then 7/17 (with the body shop), it hasn't yet. And worst of all, no updated dates. So at this pace, I'm thinking we'd actually be lucky to see the cars in October. I'm getting mine from Austin, so it's not a long shot from Freeport. The tracking system is absolute crap, so I'm not going to bother to track it until it ships, which should narrow the ridiculous window of 4 months, to maybe 1.

Nice. No way ours will arrive that early, unfortunately. That was less than 3 months, which is great. Oh, and when did it hit the water? Do you know? That'd be the more relevant date for us... although it all depends on the ship stop schedule. So a matter of luck too. Post a pic when you pick it up.

Arrived at dealer yesterday afternoon. It’s ahead of the original timeline of early to mid Aug that the dealership estimated when I got the allocation

Congrats! Are you taking the car as is or are you getting things like PPF?

I’m going to get PPF on the front & Ceramic, but not until next week when my installer has availability. It’s hard to get it booked when you really don’t know when it will arrive!

Hey @Shorlaw , are you in the US? And which state? The boat ride of only 12 days seems unbelievably quick for the us, even if you're one of the first stops. I'm in TX, so basically the last stop, and that will add significant time from the first one (around NJ, I'd guess). And finally, that $1,450 PPF quote is great. I actually pay well over that for my ex-981 GTS for the same coverage 8+ years ago.

I’m in Canada so the ship went to Halifax, then it went by train to Toronto area.

i was happy with the PPF price, he did say he discounted it because it’s my third time going to him.

12 days seems about right. If you're in Texas it might be closer to the end of 2 weeks but that is about right as well. It usually takes about 1 1/2 weeks for a ship to reach the Panama Canal on its way to the west coast and then another 1 1/2 weeks up to California so a 2 week trip to Texas is pretty doable assuming they dont experience any issues.
