That seems crazy low. Lowest quote I had was $2800 for full front PPF with XPel Ultimate

Depends on where you go. My M4 had full front plus headlights and mirrors including roof and tint and i paid 2200$

if i didnt do tint and roof, i would have only paid 1600$

I'm sure it also depends on where you are. Me just being in Greater Seattle area likely has higher costs. I did just get a new quote from another place for $2099 for full front, just not sure how good they are and if they mostly cut edges or roll them over edge or remove/re-install trim & lights. Leaning towards going with same shop I've used before even at higher price.

Yep, looks like it will be arriving in Hueneme later this evening. I had assumed it would stop in San Diego first since that's on the way, but I guess it first needs to unload other non-Porsche cars it picked up in Zeebrugge, Belgium. Hopefully it doesn't take them long to then put them on the truck to the dealership. I guess it won't be this week anymore, but I'm hopeful for next week.

From what i hear San Diego processes Porsche's pretty fast so you never know you could be picking up your car this weekend? Mine still has to go to Benicia so i'm hoping that it hits Benicia by Saturday the earliest and then about a weeks worth of processing (because reasons) and hopefully i'll get to pick my car up next weekend.

I read an old thread where a guy said he only got one key with his new Porsche. Does anyone know if that is the case in 2024?

That is a big relief. I saw multiple people say just 1 key which is nuts imo. Congrats on your new ride!

I just got one fob for my BMW motorcycle (disappointing), but so far on cars, still 2. Glad to hear it's still the case for Porsches too.

You know, could it be the factory went into break already, and our cars will be built after the break, meaning they'd be '25s, and with the new pricing??? Is it normal for production to be delayed that much? I don't have any 'manufaktur' options. Do you? Does anybody know when exactly is the factory break? Thanks.

I believe my car is a 24 with 24 pricing because I looked up the vin.

Do you have a VIN already? That means it's in production, and is, or should be finished before the break. So no worries then. Where did you see it? I'm going to log into my account right now, and see what it says.

EDIT: Same crap. That production is 'starting soon'. So no change. And I don't think there's a VIN, since I didn't see anything.

I found the vin around 1-2 weeks ago. I'm pretty sure I mentioned it in this thread. It did not show up as an announcement in the app. I found it while playing with the app. After clicking discover current phase but before clicking discover all steps I clicked order information at the top of the app. Then I looked down and it showed the vin.

Try it. You may be surprised. Let me know.

You were right. Found it... and yes, there was a VIN there. However, last update was 6/30/24, so over a month ago. And the 'tracker' says step 3 / 11. Where is yours? And delivery date shows right at the end of the year. At this pace, I don't doubt that at all. Wondering what's going on with production. And when the factory shuts down. Anyway, here's the info I found on my car:

Commission No: I30393
VIN: xxx256321
Milestones: End of production. Expected date: 9/3/24
Arrival at Porsche Center: Expected date: 12/22/24
Miles to destination: 5,193
