Boxster S Spyder

Good news!
I just received word that my Spyder is now in PRDQLT = Mfg Check Point Quality. For a while I thought I was never going to get out of Planned for Production status with all my delays. My new completion date is April 6th. So it moved up a day.
What stage happens next after PRDQLT? I have this link:
3.0 The Order Process - Porsche Boxster (986) FAQ. But the detailed status points aren't in order... just alphabetically.

My car is completed and is at checkpoint 8 with a VIN!
Should be on a ship in 2 weeks.
I figure I will be "in the seat" third week of May. For others to use as a reference, my original production date was 3-17. So figure 2 months from production date till delivery on the spyder as a rough estimate. Maybe 2 weeks less on later production cars completely unaffected by the roof problem.

I think we will be on the same ship.
When did you hear the next ship will depart?

I know that it could take 2 weeks or more from checkpoint 8 to being put on a ship depending on how many exclusive options are ordered. Apparently those options are all done in a special shop after completion of regular production.

The only exclusive options I have ordered are the are the Crest on the headrest and the Aluminum foot rest... So from an exclusive POV mine shouldn't be that big of an issue.

According to my sales rep he is not aware of the roof top issue. He told me my Spyder was on the vessel on Mar 29th and will arrive in the US on April 12th. Hopefully i can pick up the car a couple days after.

Yep, I don't think you will get a vessel name until it is loaded -- dealer then will have that info. Pure luck as to whether your car gets on a boat immediately; mine missed the next boat (out of Germany) by a day, and then sat at the port there for a week or so until the next boat departed. Of course, it has been sitting at the port in San Diego now for 3 weeks (to the day) on account of the roof snafu. Argh!

Spyderman...
I wonder what these dates are:
ORDCHGOrder Changed3/13/2010
ORDCHGOrder Changed3/16/2010
ORDCHGOrder Changed3/17/2010
I wonder if it's roof related?

Heroic Ace... an Auto Carrier Vessel is due into Bremerhaven today (Apr 6th).
They usually take 2-3 days to load... Considering mine is scheduled to be complete today, I doubt I'll make this ship. There is a sliver of a chance it'll make it, but very unlikely.
Here is the vessel info:

Hi Cayman, i believe the original customer who configure this car has modified his options and accessories quite a few times he probably kept changing his mind. But i will ask the dealer to confirm and let you know.
