Cool car. A little trivia, when Borla wanted to come up with an exhaust for the 987.2, my S was the design/test car, partially because I was into dyno testing and partially for the track time it would get.
On the R, went in a different direction for weight reduction but the Borla was one of the higher peak hp results we saw.
It's good that it's on a 6sp. as the PDK had some drone due to the rpm it would commonly sit at.
There was quite a bit of dyno testing on just about every mod available throughout the years for competition, glws.

@A432 I had a Borla on my 987.1 and LOVED the sound. What kind of gains did you see on the 987.2? Since the 987.2 has all cats in the headers, I figured a catback upgrade would produce minimal gains. Also, did you compare to the standard exhaust or factory PSE?
The PSE (along with Carnewal) showed 1.2 whp over stock but imho that could be within testing error.
So basically the PSE/Carnewal is for loudness/tone and the open design mufflers (using open perforated core with no narrowing or turns)
all made in the 6.5-7.5 whp range. The Remus had the best midrange in addition to top end.

The gains on the 987.2 were less than on a .1 because of the cats. We saw 7.5 whp with the Borla vs. stock exhaust.

That said, we did see a significant over-estimation of gains by some vendors, which I've stayed out of, but one who will remain nameless actually added octane (and possibly a tune) to get the results.........

Black R above went for $76.5k + 5% BF so $80,325

Super nice car. My max on that one was ~75. Still needed room for track mods, and while I loved the condition, didn't value it that much. I still think that was well bought, and GP will turn around and list for 90-95. Or strip out buckets and net even more.

That is one of the stronger sales I've seen for PCARmarket
Not sure who you're talking about. My avatar is my car on a Mustang dyno and the headers resulted in a 23whp gain. Car had factory PSE, no mods other than the headers, same dyno for both runs, same gear, same ambient temps, 93 pump gas. I wanted to dyno myself because I don't trust the BS marketing some of these companies release, or, as is more common in the Porsche tuning community, saying they don't think publishing power figures or supporting evidence is important. No other car community I've been part of would put up with that no-evidence BS.
These were all done independently of other mods, although my experience with the idea of the sum being greater than the parts didn't show an effect.

Prices for R and Spyder cars seem to be at an all time high.

Yep. Hagerty just came out with an article on the R on May 30th that included a price graph. That doesn't hurt the market: https://www.hagerty.com/media/market...nd-eat-it-too/
They mentioned similar-condition S models are selling for about $30k less.
