yeah that one hurts my head, so it’s not modified-but completely modified; it’s been in two perhaps minor accidents, and is flawless - except for that little coolant leak disclosed an hour ago. That is definitely a WTF listing.

I was able to find that hard top on line from a company in Germany. It was an $8k item back then.

Well, I took the plunge on a PDK Spyder. Thanks for all the opinions. I’ll take a few pics when it’s delivered.

Congratulations! I’ve owned my 2011 Spyder w/PDK for 3 years and I have to say I love it. Like you I also have a MT Porsche to scratch that itch when needed, but the PDK makes the occasional drive to work in traffic just a bit easier and because it isn’t “as special” as a manual I really don’t worry about driving it and putting miles on it.

Thanks, I look forward to experiencing the uniqueness of this balanced vehicle. I'm sure I will have MT remorse but in another 20 years I'm sure people will be offering MT swaps to keep the dream alive. In my opinion I paid way too much for this vehicle but happy-wife/happy-life. I was able to get a few things thrown in such as new MSP4s, PDK oil change, Drive belt change, brake fluid flush, spark plugs, and routine fluid/filter changes. Anything else I should be aware of? Any known issues with water pumps etc I should be wary of?

my local dealer(porsche fremont) just took in an arctic silver spyder for trade-in. driver miles(53k) & condition (minor hit on carfax) but car looks in great shape. right build(6mt / lwb / spyder wheel from what i can tell, non-leather int btw)
asking probably will be around 60k

Sounds like my old car. I’ll be interested to see the VIN. When I sold it, it ended up in the Bay Area.

Last Bid was $60k RNM. Not much action on it.

Seller should've taken $60k for it. I'm surprised BaT allowed a reserve higher than that.

If people think the car deserves more because it was CPO, they don't know what BS it's become these days.

agreed, seller should’ve taken it. It had some unique features (LWBS & MT) but not enough to command a premium. 51k miles is pretty high to command a collectors price and let’s face it, unique colors are the rage for high desirability these day as well. If this thing had been peridot the bids would have been through the roof. Either way he’s still got a solid car which will most likely next be seen on PCarmarket.
