Check the spread sheet here and you'll be able to drill down into how m
any White - Red/alcantara (lwbs) - mt cars were made.
My Black / Red / LWBS / MT turned out to be one of five in NA, and the only one with Turbo II wheels. Just kind of interested to look at the numbers.
Here's link if you don't have it:
987.2 Boxster Spyder - Google Sheets
Here's my analysis of mine:
P.s. I count 20 White / Red/alcantata (LWBS) total. 10 of which are MT.

For me, no. I drive my car with windows down from April-October. The only time I use A/C is a few times per year when my car has been sitting in the sun and I'm looking to cool things down, but even then I'd deal without it if the rest of the car was right.

Doesn't look like a roll over. I'm not sure that it's structurally repairable since parts of the superstructure are high tensile steel. Put another way, I sure wouldn't be comfortable on this repaired car unless it had at least a half cage.

Looks like a tree or something heavy fell on it. It was the roofline above the driver window and driver rear quarter damage that totaled it.
This is a candidate for a repair IMO because it doesn't have carbon buckets the salvage sale price will be lower. Someone with bodywork skill can cut and weld in a new panel from another 987 which should be easy to find since most are totaled due to front end collisions.
What a shame. A unique spec too.
