Second owner. Clean car fax. Pre-purchase inspection with leak down test and rev report available on request completed by Speed Sport Tuning of Danbury, CT on July 27th and included oil change and spark plugs. New Tires. Always stored indoors in the winter. List of options that came new: Sport Chrono, A/C, Bose Sound, Bluetooth, Bi-Xenon headlights with cornering, Sports Shifter, Body Colored Wheels. Aftermarket changes: GT3 control arms, and ScotchGuard Paint protection on hood and bumpers. Selling because 3 kids in college. Best car I ever owned, and a joy to drive. First pictures in the grass were taken with Porsche Light Weight Bucket seats installed. I have since re-installed the original Porsche leather seats and am selling the Light Weight Bucket seats separately.

Beautiful R!
Which seats come with the car? Some pictures have the gt2 sport buckets and others have sofas that I have never seen in an R before. It also looks like some pics have a harness bar. Does that come with the car?
Thank you,
Al

You are right. As I mentioned in the opening, the pictures on the grass were taken with LWBs installed, but I have since taken those out and sold them separately. I re-installed the seats given to me by the original owner, if they are not original that is news to me, and I will have to check with SST. I uninstalled the harness bar as well, but it is available for free.

The car has never had paintwork unless you mean a scratch repair. There was a 1/4 inch scratch on the right rear fender that I had repaired, but after several buff jobs I couldn't find it last month when I took the photos of the scratches on the door sill and fender.
I did half-heartedly list the car last summer on both Rennlist and PCA with the LWBs and harness installed, but now that I am more serious about selling it, I realized that parting out the seats was necessary..
yeah, I remember the car: I thought it had sold. Anyways, good luck with the sale. Most of the sales I have seen on BAT show that bucket-equipped Rs carry a premium but perhaps you can make more by selling them separately. The most desired car by the enthusiast would be white, peridot, or aqua, manual, with buckets

Yeah, the buckets are hot items. Mine sold in less than 30 minutes.

I want to say thank you. I am not enough of an aficionado to have noticed the seats were not the original. Turns out the originals got minor damage so SST thought it best to give me a clean set of 997 seats instead. It was my fault as I ok'd the work without realizing the seats were not identical. Good news is the originals are still available so I will get some photos of them and include them with the sale.
Hi, are the original seats in any of the pictures above? To confirm, the green wheels have sold separately?
I did not sell the wheels. They stay with the car.
Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on how you look at it ), I'm in Maine with my family so I have not yet photographed the original seats. They are clean accept for a mark on the driver's side seat that is about 1 inch by 1/4 inch where the other seat sat on top and dug into the leather leaving a dimple while in storage. I am returning home on Monday and will put up pictures on Tuesday. I would note that used Cayman R seats(not the LWBs but the basic black leather seats) that are 100% clean can be had online for less than $3000.
What I did sell were the Light Weight Bucket seats which I purchased and installed myself. At the moment the car has seats in it from a 997, but again I have the original seats. I also am awaiting an email copy of the Digital Motor Electronics readout. From talking to Speed Sport Tuning I understand there are readings in range 2 but nothing higher. Again I will post the report as soon as I have it in hand.
