Looking a little more promising. The comment about colour choices is interesting. Unique colours available on touring. That earlier leaked pic of the dark grey may be one of them?
You think the grey will be slate grey or like your 50th grey? PS i also owned a 50th in graphite grey metallic but i think the leaked pic looks more like slate grey
I don't think the leaked picture colours was the graphite grey from the 50th. Pictures looked darker so yes a slate grey is my guess as well.
Again not really sure why they don't mix it up a bit though if providing different colours, we already have some greys and silver available, why not a green or a mahogany, an orange or even another yellow. Although appreciate a yellow or orange may not go with a less conspicuous look of a touring version.
PS the sale grey looked the part on that 911R / steve Mcqueen inspiration ..

Slate Grey is beautiful
I guess we like the same colors i love Mahogany and green as well
I would think masking off chrome trim would be the easiest (and predictable) thing Porsche would do to retain any semblance of surprise with a model variant.
You can see the little baby rear lip on this car which first was seen on the grey car with bright trim. Like that car, this one is also US-spec (perhaps the same car). I agree with WernerE that the bright trim is hidden here, ahead of its reveal this coming week or next.

I presume it would be 'anodised' - so, more satin than chrome.
The 2.7RS 'Touring' (and 911s of that era) had quite a lot of 'brightwork' and it helps accentuate the classic 911 roofline - particularly against darker colours.
