ignore noise on RT, car will be available (despite my personal views against it)....marketing department at Porsche is full speed ahead on setting up wingless option details so no one has told them yet

Unfortunately, I had to go overseas on short notice for a couple of weeks. I have been pinging my sources via email but have not yet received any further details. But rest assured, at the Porsche function last week, I had 3 people independently confirm it is coming.

I appreciate the update. I'm very curious about this option and have been checking rennlist twice daily waiting to see your report.

I look forward to hearing what you learn from your sources.

My sources have indicated that GT3s are hard to get and all dealers have too long a list and too few cars to go around so far.

I Still think touring package / wing delete is a crock but hey we never know.

The only constant on Porsche internet forums like this one is the equality of unreliability of all parties to a debate, and the certitude of their respective statements.

Any idea if PAG is still allowing the importing company (PCNA, PCGB, etc.) to spec the same model in different forms? i.e. One country might get a touring model while another (USA) won't?

Still on a waiting list but hoping to get one even for a long wait. Anyway I am planning for May 2018 ED. At first, I was excited to hear the Touring Package but as time goes by I am leaning towards the full wing GT3. Every time I looked at pictures and videos of the new GT3.2, the wing really completed the whole package. My only drawback is the attention it will get since I will DD this one except during snow/cold season.

I told you guys initially that the 2 package GT3 situation was indicative of the clubsport (roll cage in EU) vs non clubsport (no roll cage)

I rang my dealer and asked about a NA 4.0 with rear seats and no wing, don't care about the designation, he knows nothing but hes put me on the list for the Panamera Sport Turismo launch, he knows I want a Mission E so he's being 100% evil tempting me with a mega wagon.

Not surprising...the first batch of allocations were small and 918 non-mortals took a chunk of those allocations. Things will loosen up as Porsche releases the GT2/RS and the GT3RS. Many buyers are on several lists, I'm on 3.

...and the GT4/RS, Speedster, etc. But more than that, I expect a lot of current owners and those on the fence will sit tight after the 992 debuts this fall in Frankfurt.
