I painted the gas tank that I've been working on..coming along pretty good so far..need to put on a couple of more coats to get it looking "right"..Pretty rough when I started. Then today, I was able to finally change the transmission main shaft seal..Thanks guyus for the help with the drawings and all..really helped a lot!
Raised the rear ride height. She was squatting a bit too much with a full tank. Passenger side torsion bar had to be indexed with all the joys that that entails.
US spec is 543mm for the rear. I was shooting for 500 with a full tank and 515 sucking fumes. The front is 611mm and it is hovering around 580 depending on fuel level.
Test drive went well...1.6 camber in the rear and 0.5 up front. A little wag in the transitions but acceptable. I will get the strings out when it reaches a half tank.
Nice lookin rig, there, NC Porsche! Trailer looks great too! Be sure to cover the wooden deck in the winter..My last one had the deck rot out and I had to replace it..before I sold it..Thompson's water lock??
A little under cleaning.
Looks like the previous owner had the car sprayed with a waxy yellow undercoat. Any tricks to get it off
