Chris. Love the new ride. Alot of car for the money! Having one foot in each camp can honestly say I dont think youll find you are missing out on much. Be good to see you trackside. Put 12+13 Sept in your diary for NITT. That will be a blast as it was last year. I think we will have a few more of the women turning up too and staying at the Hilton in Taupo. Mandy & Jo already confirmed and I suspect Kim & Donna will want to join too. We could do a lightening raid on Manfield for the day aka SITT style and use Taupo as a base. Im sure Faine will enjoy it. May be a great way to ease her back into the idea of track action....

PPS. Menfolk. As discussed with John over a BLT yesterday having womenfolk along for some of SITT really helped in terms of them appreciating they are not alone in their husbands RL, car & track day affliction. Has made life so much easier since when talking about preparing car safely (i.e. mods LOL) for next time out. Was a surprise bonus of the trip and much recommended as Im sure Pete, Steve, Chris & John will attest! Pete, if Kims not sure about NITT tell her that the Royals will be passing through Taupo on their NZ visit this week and we will be travelling part of same roads :-)

First fun drive might be through the Hunua's this afternoon!
Great looker, Chris, and yes, you have some Porsche heaven right on your doorstep. Enjoy the bonding.

I agree, Jacinda was only there for a few days and had Kaitlin, but Jacinda being in Queenstown was good for both of us. I will talk to her about the NITT.

Nothing wrong with a good night out with the missus. Might improve your batting average??

That's more like it Paul.

Taking your wife to the PCNZ AGM is not an odds on play to improving your batting average. Trust me. Thats a hard audience to get excited over. Taking her to a club and getting her salubrious might be a good night out with the missus....:-P

10 May Chris.

Yes taking the wife dancing is always good for domestic credit, but I need a few wines in me. And there is dancing and a band later in the night.

Fair call Paul. If Jenny isn't up to dancing on the night I'm sure Helen will take you up on a whirl.

Ignore me. I'm home watching the stones on TV when I had prime tickets to see them live tonight! Just sore!!

Well homies it's arrivederci from this Grupper. Been a seminal month in NZ with enough Porsche driving to satiate even the most starved enthusiast. 6000km on the 993 on some of the worlds greatest roads, some fun tracks and some excellent company!

Next visit will be NITT and will be packing both air and water cooled for that event. Bloody well looking forward to it already...

Ciao
M

Safe travels back to the rock. Getting our beach time at Oakura, but must revisit my Vanuatu haunts soon. Have now produced videos for the first 6 days (includes 3 for the Cape Reinga leg).

The editing job is getting harder as the media choice expands. When I'm finished we'll see how to get a copy to you. The last one was 1gb and they're only going to get bigger as we get to the meat of the trip. I don't want to post on line given some of the antics, plus I'm editing for memories more than a doco so the interest will be narrow.
