You could then put your items on the drive as well so we have a complete record. I have all of Doug's photos.

Questions for you gopro experts.

I've always been into still photography and have refined the art of shooting through the sunroof while driving as many of you have seen. However, it is pretty hit and miss.

Shooting through the screen creates poor quality images.

There seems to be a fair number of usability frustrations with the go pros, although the image quality is great.

If i mounted a go pro on my outside screen could i take stills with instant single shot images controlled from a ipod touch?

My iphone is for navigation hense the idea of controlling with a dedicated control device

iPhone can control photo taking on a GoPro. However I think the way you are already doing it is best. The GoPro photos are not as good.

Ok, thanks John. Looking forward to seeing your video mash up at some stage. Don't envy you the editing job though :-)

Thanks John. That's huge. I don't even have a drive that big in NZ so will need to buy something copy my stuff on it for you (100gb) and drop it in your letterbox this week. If you could copy over the files I'll try and pick it up before I head off...

Doug I tend to agree with John. The gopro is fine for wide angle but not much else.

The trip was good to help me further rationalise my car kit. I am going to try a new camera system I think. I won't use wifi remote any more it's too power hungry. Too fiddly too. Very happy with performance box as it's 12v supply so less batteries to worry over. ....

Have split it into days, which gives themes. Then will look for obvious highlights in photos and videos. It will chunk down quite quickly..hopefully.

Nothing so exciting. Terry put the hard word on me to turn up at the last regularity trial at HD today, even though I don't have an eligible car. I put the magnetic numbers on to remind him the Turbo will be eligible in 2016.

don't know about you boys but I am still feeling quite weary. Not going to look at the car for a few weeks I suspect. I need to get the Targa car sorted, engine build happening now. NI Targa May 15

Same here Graeme. Feeling very tired. In Taupo now will make the final push tommorow covering 300km. I think that will bring our total to 4900 since we left Sunday before last.....had a blast though. Looking forward to getting back to track with brake/pad upgrade and new synchros. May look at a RS re-gear 3rd-5th as well to keep those pesky 964s at bay lol!

I don't think the 964 boys posed much of a threat to you Macca?

No, we 964s didn't pose much of a threat and I'm not convinced there's much more to eek out of them, unless Doug is going to find seconds at HD that I haven't.

Watching Chris and Steve circulate brought back Graeme's wise words, use the manufacturer's research spend. If it wasn't for the RUF Bilsteins needing repair I would stop enhancing the C4 and leave it exactly where it is at. I will fit them and that's it.
