Ok, redone. A pox on anyone that orders sports buckets http://www.porsche-code.com/PH6Y6M40
Well the GT3 has gone to a new owner who intends to use for track days, he got a bargain. The GT4 has a tough ask to be better than the GT3, don't feel like I got my time with it, it was a beast, so edgy and fun.
Macca - had a quick sit in a Focus RS yesterday. Feels the business static, with everything falling well to hand. Only upgrade that came to mind is to swap on a motorsport brake pedal, or some other grippy one. Very easy to slip off the polished steel side of the default one when testing heel and toeing.

Walt. Yes I agree - those fancy alloy pedals are annoying. I never spec them on my cars because they are all about show and get slippery like you say. Unfortunately the RS comes with them as standard. Apparently some have found the brake pedal a bit low for easy H&T and there is an aftermarket spacer kit which supposedly addresses this. To be quite honest I will only end up owning this car for 4 months so I suspect Ill be leaving it pretty much 100% stock.
Pel. I saw Ian more a collector than a track guy, but hopefully you've helped him see the path to enlightenment. We need new blood regularly.
You'll love the GT4 I think. It has the ability to be as quick on the track as the GT3, probably quicker, whilst also being a better road car. And its new so you wont have to spend any money on it other than getting the suspension set up for the track (Leong can direct you here). If you are thinking to do a Targa Tour this is also the car to do it with...

Got my rego papers in the first mail - $115.25. Not bad, setting aside the physical limitations of going anywhere. Have now had it 3 yrs.
Have also got papers for insurance - as yet unopened. Is there a best method for increasing agreed value for insurance purposes, how to agree a value? Initial value was easy, purchase price. Am with AJIB/ Prestigio

Cheers gentlemen, can you please text or email his contact details.
My insurance agents have themselves suggested that the market has moved considerably - will try to make time to talk with them tomorrow.
