Think those old Alfas are quite beautiful , not sure I'd be brave enough to own one tho. Saw some racing at the Ring about 15-16 years ago
Nearly bought a 33 to take to Stewart Is years ago - saw sense before pulling trigger.

Wow 1000nm torque! I never knew Audi did a 12 cylinder Diesel. Looks like a lot of towing for the money.

Have been intermittently off grid so only just caught up with the latest here. Your big news Macca. That Alfa sure looks stunning. Its going to be a big next 12 months for you. I bet the Alfa will be a fun drive and if it turns out that it still has some of those less desirable genes in it well you will just sell it and move on.
You have been building up to selling the 993 for a while now. Great car and hope you don't regret it. Trouble is cars are so good these days but one fits all still can't really work and you are moving towards filling niches with your proposed fleet. All fun...

John that wheel you picked up should come up nicely, there's guys that do a good job re painting them, I had the one done on Aarons 964.

If you are serious about that then I would check a couple of things as I think it has been on the market before.
1) If its got ceramic discs, then get the thickness measured (big cost to replace)
2) check for full service records and any gearbox repairs

I'm hoping so. It looks like mould as opposed to wear and the price allows refurbishment. Where did you get yours done?

There is another one I've asked about as well. I will continue to buy OEM parts when I see them as I now know they're increasingly hard to come by.

When you find out who is the best vendor for this work, let me know. The original SC steering wheel is very tatty. Might need recovering actually.

A bit of a mis-step on the first wheel. It appears to be 360mm not 380mm. I will likely put it back on Trademe. However, thanks to Jamie I scored a very nice condition one that looks correct. $250. Side by side the differences are obvious.
