Then, the most obvious comparison of HP vs Torque (or force)

The 650hp ZR1 vs the 32,000lbs of thrust (or force) F18 fighter.

check out 0-60 who wins and then , who wins overall in the 1 mile sprint!

"When these four cars get together, only 1 word comes to mind: drag race."

Uh, no. First off, that's two words, and the words that come to mind for me are: "road course."

Impressive performance, though.

First 2 words "price performance"
ZR1
Horsepower on some lawn equiptment with lower hp now is listed as
Torque or Gross HP because of the lawsuits of understanding hp.
Went to get a new snow blower it was listed as 9.5 which now is the torque rating.
HP sure doesn't sell lawn equiptment anymore its torque!
HP sells if its correct ratings.

Yep, thats true!! however the ZR1 is now functioning in all catagories, as a true supercar. its not as elegant as a porsche or ferarri, but it gets the job done!

"If" the ZR1 is so mighty why did I pass TWO OF THEM 2 weeks ago on track? Clearly my brute 257ftlbs of power was too much for the ZR1 to handle

Brian, really??? do i have to talk about all my 550hp, 600ftlbs of torque vipers that ive passed with my 370hp too????
In a straight line, if the HP /weight is set, that will determine who will win a race. basic physics (all things being equal) but the driver always seems to be factor, funny how that works!

Hey, put me in that vet , on slicks and see how I do against your old , basically stock, 25 year old 928

Your funny!!

You are quicker because your ability. Just because they can afford zr1's doesn't mean they are qualified to drive them. This guy knows how...

Obviously those two cars were not being driven hard. A well driven bone stock ZR1 would destroy your car around a race track.

An even better record now on newer ZR1 of 7:19.63
GT2 factory claims 7:18 but never seen video only claims of the 7:18
at twice the price

You forgot the smiley face. When there is no driver in a ZR1, I can walk faster than it.
