scott, ive been saying "all things being equal " for years, but yes, you are right. but as i always do, i add the newtonian ID of acceleration=power/(mass x velocity)
i did say same HP , but you changed both in your comment, not just mass. so i think we both screwed up if you want to get technical. better than make a lame example, why didnt you just qualify it with "is the mass the same ?" of course it is, why would you want to compare two different weights of cars when the discussion is ONLY about engine torque vs rear wheel forces and how they relate to HP?
