I know at the ECR Club Race we had a Master tech at the scales with a Porsche computer checking ECU's.

Plus in Texas if you are find to be cheating all others in your class get to pick one item off your car to take home with them...
Just saying...

"in Texas we all know each other fairly well, and we run close times. Break outs will be noticed. Not sure how the scrutineers will handle it, but we'll use a rope."

ROFL!! I love how you guys think down there.

Well we have special rules for Globe... Due to his "mad skills" we let him use a GT3 CUP engine so he can recover faster from a spin!

What is the advantage to spec over running in H. Looks like the only savings are Shocks and a slightly cheaper tire. You now have less cars to run with and will spend the money on getting lighter. Looks like we just broke up one of the fastest growing classes for no reason. With the kind of $ we are spending the price between H and spec is insignificant.

since you will have no choice but to go all plastic in lieu of glass to get down to weight the car will end up costing more and since plastic is only allowed for windshield glass in H you bump out of H.

H. Any ride height is allowed, as long as no metal part of the vehicle touches the ground.
D. A limited slip differential is allowed.

Wow, pretty wide open...

Dave the 514 car is actually black and it's Vali Predescu's NASA GTS3 Championship car from 2009. It's from So Cal and he recently sold it....

CoinBoy's car is 50lbs under weight. He did a pecan rear window but that only saves about 10lbs so he's still 40lbs under with all glass and no carbon fiber. Almost all our weight reductions come with the sawmill and grinding wheel.
