Hamiltion: "My f-duct isn't working!! My f-duct isn't working!"
Race engineer: "You are the fastest car in sector 3 Lewis, it is working fine."
BBC announcer: "Hamilton is like a kid at Christmas who is disappointed with all the presents he just got."
I loved it...

Love him or hate him... You have to admit that Alonso's pass on Hulkenberg was an impressive piece of driving.
Actually, impressive from Hulkenberg as well.
I also found it interesting that Hamilton could not pass Hulkenberg on track and had to wait until the pitstops to make up the gap.

Of course that would not go over very well with fans of Mrs Alonso.

I don't know, I understand that there is a lot of support for using team orders to help Webber here, but on the other hand, Vettel is still a legitimate contender. I think most people here usually accept team orders when one or the other driver is mathematically eliminated. This has not happened yet, so it is a tough call.
We saw in Korea how quickly the fortunes can change. If Vettel's engine hadn't blown up, he would be looking very strong right now.
When it is all over next week, we will be able to judge with perfect hindsight what would have been the right move.

If I understand the standings going into the final race, Alonso leads Webber by seven points.
Why does that number sound familiar....7 points....no wait, I am sure it will come to me.
Now I know...7 points costs $100,000...I just checked the FIA price list.
Kudos to RBR for the Constructors Championship.
Newey is the man

what? I thought it was 25 for 1st and 18 for 2nd then 15, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, 1.
hope I'm right as I've already calculated what MW, SV and FA all have to do to win the WDC.
If we're talking points diff:

Yes, you wonder if they will bite their nose off to spite their face in this situation. You can't believe they'd do it, but can you imagine Vettel slowing to let Webber through? Me either. What happens if they were all very close together and in the process of letting Webber through, Alonso was also able to sneak through and win the WDC?? Can't you just hear the ensuing cacophony!!

I agree, I did not support that decision either, even though events have since shown that it has helped Alonso's championship charge. There are valid arguments both ways. I personally prefer waiting until only one driver can win.
