Fun stuff. I just had horrible luck. Just barely nicked and crushed in two 'big' ones. Caught Kevin in a huge brake check before the pace car (again sorry kevin I was behind someone and didn't have any view) and had something break on me causing another. Ugghhhhh...

We have to do that again.

That was really fun last night! Everybody was learning the Super Speedway thing - drafting, cautions, restarts, etc. I had a ton of fun and finished on the podium again!

That's funny, Joe ran up to the front on the last lap under yellow and moved up ahead of me in the standings!! I was TENTH!!!!

Yeah, it was a bit bad out there. I'm still not sure how Kevin ended up on the lead lap. At one point he had the same number of tows as I did and was 2 laps ahead of me. He must be REALLY fast.

Good race last night, everyone. We had a close pack at the front, though I was sorry to see Andrew slip up just a bit in T2 on one of the restarts and lose the draft.

I wonder how this group would do in the COT at one of the non-plate ovals, or in a Late Model at one of the short tracks (if ovals are something we're going to be doing any more of.)

I was lucky with my wrecks. Each time I was able to limp back to the front straight to minimize my tow time. Both tows were about a minute and a half. Then I was able to get out before the pace car came around and I raced back to the field before it went green. This only works on long ovals where it takes the field a long time to do a lap under caution.

BTW - I am really fast too

I will try to make it, though I've been sick all week and not sure if I'll be up to racing tonight.

This week’s race:

Date: Wednesday 2.24.10

Practice: 7:30 pm EST

Qualifying: 8:30 pm EST

Race: 9:00 pm EST

Track: Summit Point

Car: VW TDI Cup

Password: 944S2

Yes, I know it is an underpowered, front-wheel-drive car but it is a ton of fun to race! A great car for people new to iRacing as it is very forgiving (the exact opposite of the C6R). Hope you can make it!
