TDI Cup!!! Excellent! What's a full grid, 16? Or is that just for the sanctioned iRacing races?

Hey Gary,
The only limitation on grid size in a hosted session is the number of pit stalls(or if the host puts a limit). This is a NASCAR track so it has at least 43 pit boxes.

In the official iRacing series the field is limited based on license level - rookie is 12, class D is 16 - it continues to expand the higher the license level.

Thanks Kevin, I guess that's some incentive to move up in class then as the bigger the field the better I like it, especially on a big track.

The Williams FW31 is getting started now. One of the engineers just got back from the factory in the UK. I would guess it will be summer before it is released though. I think the Aussie V8 is nearly done so it should be next.

I just watched the first two V8 Supercar events of the year. Those are really neat, 600+ hp in a street derived touring car chassis. Are they doing the Holden or the Ford?

Is Long Beach gonna happen? I've seen a raw version but it sure would be a fun change to have a street circuit as well.

Thanks Kevin it was fun, be great with about 30 guys! Here is a very short vido grab of the high point of my race. That's Gary M. in front, me in the Purple car, and Joe C. in the 3rd orange car..

I need to setup the video grabs as well. The best view is the rear chase on your car Gary. You're going along and then you see Miller go wide and then all of a sudden the pumpkin blur passes....

I think Long Beach will get completed some day, just not anytime soon. For now we have the version you have seen here at the office which we make available for pro drivers that want to get some seat time there before the race.
