Decided to re-open this thread........
It is only fair to everyone else who maybe had something to add (and didn't have moderator privileges) after I closed it on my previous post.......

He was trying to follow my line (which, for all the comments you can't really see due to the distance) and he almost lost it in T8. He DIDN'T lose it though did he! I slowed, we did another few laps and I congratulated him on DOING THE RIGHT THING when he knew the corner was burnt. We also had a good talk about what his (perceived by me) issues were after I followed him for a few laps and he obviously listened and moved forward. You guys spend way too much time trying to incinerate someone that you don't know because of the conclusions you draw on a fuggin INTERNET FORUM. Geoffrey, you are equally guilty. Paolo never spun (Where TF did THAT come from?) and he locked his right rear wheel ONCE entering T8 (Ummmm BFD!!) more than likely because I was pushing too hard. His other "OFF" was following ME over the curbing at T1. I ALWAYS fly up on that curbing and in a race (in D anyway - ask Sean) it's almost "the line'! So I guess it actually WAS all my fault...

Paolo - i'm behind you in this post but stop with the ones (you know) that are just tossed out to get a response.
All I can say is Gary's line was fine, yours was F'd up. Better luck next time.

Who can argue with that..

Now that this has been unlocked I need to clarify something. I'm NOT pointing a finger at Geoffrey and he was only responding to bad information (gotta wonder WHY the WGI corner workers did it, was Uncle Bill out there?) from his sources. They told him Paolo had a "bad spin". Anyone see him spin in that video?? THAT is the worst thing the guy did, and I was with him EVERY run that day. Assess the video and comment, stop commenting on what you think of him for asking about Hoosier's, is it time to race, etc. etc. etc (we all have a Boston post to bash, including me). If I was Geoffrey, wasn't out on the track with him, and didn't know Paolo personally I would have felt and done EXACTLY what he did.

Keep in mind these were DE laps and 3-4 SECONDS off a podium D car race pace (6 off the record!) and give him constructive criticism.. "yours was F'd up. Better luck next time." doesn't exactly help...

My advice, filter the responses you get based on the level of the driver. Geoffrey is good. Gary is (and this pains me to say ) pretty good too. I haven't gone back and read the entire thread, so I am sure there are other good drivers posting as well. Listen to them and filter out the rest.

Ok. By reopening his thread I assumed he was looking for quantity, not quality.

I wish I had my rear facing camera up to see you and Fred get through there. Was anyone actually ON the track?
