Wasn't the 'no brown M&Ms backstage' part of David Lee Roth's touring contract with Van Halen?
Perhaps just an urban legend....
Can't wait until there's some actual F1 racing action.

It is true, I heard him confirm it in an interview. It actually had nothing to do with M&Ms. As Luigi's link explains it was about knowing if the promotor read the entire contract especially the parts about setting up the rigging and lighting in a safe manner.
