I'm sure you see a much more diverse swatch of the market. The people I know in the hobby want to rid themselves of cars they have "collected" and simplify down to cars they will use. And w/in the segment of the car market I'm involved in, I've seen premiums melt for low mileage, rare color and other scarcity qualities. But you do this for a living. Chances are I'm just surrounded by like minded people.
Well said and I am right there with you 'buyers wanna buy stuff they can drive'. Thanks to the speculators being on hiatus, this is a good time to be a buyer.
what's the point of having a toy you can hump....erh.. drive I mean.
clear bra guy asked me, after a 6 day detail, when are we expecting your transport to show up
I was like, what transport.
he said to transport the CGT for film..
ha I told him I will drive it to him if it gets chipped on my way then so be it.
When I drive mine to the dealer for service, everyone at the dealership look at me like I am crazy and asking me why I didn't flat bed the car to them!
I’m scared to flat bed mine anywhere. I’d rather add miles than let some driver roast my clutch. Driving depreciation (and a few smiles) over risk of fried clutch (with no smiles) any day!
I am willing to let mine go just offered sub 2k mile 05
Let me know if interested - 05 Silver black 7900 miles I am 2nd owner all documents all luggage including seat extenders orig sticker 29 clutch reading never had engine out always serviced by coincidence goes in tomm to Porsche dealer for oil change filter etc. All Orig paint no accident one pin head paint mark above pass rear fender one 2 pin head mark in rear diffuser - full clear ceramic coat. Has very well done mesh screens to keep debris located behind front tires.
My $0.02 is to post your own thread with the criteria you're looking for and/or get in touch with some of the dealer/brokers on here.
Yep - it seemed sketchy aside from one owner. Just loving local to me, but probably too optimistic for the right one - great heads up. Liked Black as well...
Going to add the GMG exhaust and look for something special.
I am a big fan of aftermarket exhausts. I have them on a few of my cars (Tubi, Borla, Fabspeed). However, I prefer the howl of the standard exhaust on the CGT a lot more than the aftermarket ones. I suggest you experience the difference before switching the exhaust system.
Got offered a 3,500 mile 2005 Silver CGT for $600k but the money had to be wired same or next day and no time to do a full inspection...I passed because I'm not buying a CGT unless I have a full inspection done. The car did sell the same day.
