When I was deciding on a power source, I searched quite a bit-the cheap solution was the used computer power source hack, 100 amps most of them. Those car sites, mostly BMW coders and programmers know that you can screw things up without a constant power source- hence the search for an affordable one, or paying for a decent one from known manufacturers.
Every Porsche dealer uses a constant power source as outlined in the Factory Service Manual. 40 Amps for 997 generation cars, and way more, 100 amps for the newer models.

On the GT car pages, there are threads on the Center Lock system, implemented since the 997.2 cars(Carrera GT had an earlier version)
Plenty of imbeciles contesting the fact that the car has to be in the air before loosening or tightening the center locks. "I just crack it loose with the car on the ground"-

Or idiot tire shops that used a regular air gun 🤣

One of the MANY reasons I didn't order CL wheels. The day they come out with a F1 system sans the convolutions required of these I may consider them. As it is I'll keep the standard lugs

I read most of the thousands of posts in this thread. I am interested in getting PIWIS 3, I saw the "free" software option in post # 1336, I tried doing a google search and the only link that comes up has cap on download and I can't seem to get the whole file. Anyone have a link they are willing to share? you can PM me here. Also does anyone know if the ali express VAS 6154 still work with the software?

If I am looking to buy a PIWIS 3 cloned 6154 and software on SSD.. Where is the best place for it ?

The Universal consensus, and if you read the thousands of posts as you mention, is @rnlst_log . It will not be free but it's what will work.

As to VAS6154 you get what you pay for, seems Autel has come out with a much faster (but more expensive model), the above mentioned gentleman will fill you in.

You will also need a PowerMax 100A charger, I would not use your CTEK. GL
