I bought Piwis 3 from Autonomen to use on my 2019 GT3 RS. The program is not reading the VCI. Is there a certain order to get them to connect? Most of the buttons in the program are greyed out and I'm not able to click them. Any help is appreciated.

My 06 Cayman S had a Softronics tune, that I installed using a Durametric pro cable 10 years ago. The car had bore score recently, rebuilt the engine from 3.4 to 3.8L and when I went to reload the stock file, it would not work because Softronics changed the method they use for flashing. I contacted Scott @Softronic he told me basically to take a hike and ignored all my calls, for 2 weeks I called daily and left a message with my number to call me back, they never did.
But through email he said, if I pay $500 he can hook me up with an upgraded file for the 3.8L, but going back to stock felt like I’m stealing money out of his pocket. Sorry can’t help you 😡😡
I decided to skip dealing with that a$$ and flash it, the dealer wouldn’t do it, unless I order a new blank ECU, to have as back up, in case my original DME got bricked during the flash. An Indy shop also was afraid to touch it, everyone keeps saying it can be bricked in the process, they don’t want to take the responsibility.
I spoke to Jake Raby, he said that Scott locks out the adaptive learning and when the engine goes large, they won’t jive. And that I need to flash it back to stock so that ECU can adapt to the new displacement.
So today we tried with a PIWIS 3. But unfortunately we couldn’t do it, as the software didn’t have the stock firmware for the 06 987S. And he doesn’t have a PPN account to retrieve it from Porsche server.
So now I am back to where I started .. does anyone of you have access to my car’s DME file !? I’m willing to pay to obtain that file.
Another option, if someone has a spare DME for an 06CS, I know someone that can clone it directly off the car.
This would be the other option. But you can’t just slap in the ECU in the car and be done with it. The easiest thing is to clone the chip on that ECU into mine, but that means mailing both of them to guy who will clone them. There is a risk they could both be lost in the mail. Then I’m really screwed.
Also getting the latest firmware by PIWIS will mean the car will have the latest one. The car has never been to a dealer since new but once to fix a couple of things under warranty a long time ago.

Do you have the hardware and software IDs? The once from piwis when doing extended identification?
I have a PIWIS 3 with 41.6 and 38.2 in full engineering mode. I know one can change some of the vehicle data such as editing a 2016 Cayman S so PIWIS 3 thinks it's a GTS and remapping an extra 20HP. However I don't know how it's done. I'd like to edit a 2010 997.2 S to GYS amd get the extra HP.
Good evening to all. Is there a way with PTEG Keygen to set when software expires? I use the keygen and whatever expiration date I put, the license key works normally but it gives me unlimited licence. Is there a way like with piwis 2 to set the expiration time?
I use clone 1.6.6 vas6154.

Hey all .. been in talks about getting PIWIS III to do some work with my Panamera GTS, as well as hopefully future p-cars...
