She's very understanding! I'm working nights for a couple months anyway so I'm up at odd hours as it is.

You are really enjoying the car!
So for the neighbors I keep it in normal or comfort mode until I get on the main road so it's fairly quiet, one of the neighbors actually commented on how quiet it was while idling.

Switch to Sport Mode, give it a rev and you've got cup car sound.

Front pads were toast after 3k up front - the rears were at half life. I have racing pads on there now that should last a little longer. Tires still decent but were replaced with Hoosier R7.
That will be some good hot weather testing, look forward to your videos. There is one other member who has probably close to 10 track events or more on this GT350 Track Pack - goes by "Bossing" on 6G. I think he is on here.

I really need to get some track events signed up soon, this car is trouble on the street!

Enjoy reading the latest in this thread!

Went to a local Ford dealer few days back, they said they only got 2 R allocations for 17 so far. Both sold. They are going for 20-30k over MSRP. Previous dealer customers paid 5k or so over MSRP for the 16s, new customers charged more. 2017 350 track packs available to order no problem.

I wanna drive one! Too bad you can't sign up for the track attack day without owning one.

I watched yet another review on the car and the reviewer highlighted body fit quality, noticeable gap variations between body panels on one side vs the other etc.

The dealer I've been in contact with for over a year has told me that they have no information yet on 2017 models.. Which dealer did you speak with? Is your dealer getting more than 2 x R's? ..

Just sent an email to my dealer in Georgia asking about the 2017 GT350/GT350R. Should hear something soon.

Also FYI 2017 year is available for order. http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=57477

Ok here's what I just got back...anybody interested shoot me a message.

We will be getting two 2017 GT350's and one GT350R. At this point they have not been allocated but that is the expected allocation. Once it is official, we will be able to order them and have them built just as you did. I will shoot you an email when the order banks are open.

I'm in Ontario, Canada. Kennedy Ford, its a smaller dealer. He said he didn't know beyond the 2 that are spoken for. Also said that immediate surrounding area dealers are also sold out.

Thx Para82, I am in Canada though,
They have not released any #'s to my knowledge here and the online configurator on ford.ca still reflects the '16 models..

Kennedy has a 16 R and 350 in the showroom. Dealer principal owns the R.

Have you checked with Erinwood Ford? They are high volume dealer. I haven't done much shopping on it, just dropped in on the way to Fortinos

I have a deposit on 991.2 GT3, so will see how that pans out first.

In case any dealership types are reading this, here is what not selling over MSRP means to some people. When a business vehicle needed to be replaced, I drove 7 miles past the next door Mullinax Ford Dealer who wanted $20k over for a GT350R, to Kisselback Ford, to buy a van yesterday. Kisselback doesn't markup above MSRP. I could probably get a regular GT350 from them but their volume isn't high enough to get the R, which I'm holding out for. Anyhow, I like how they do business and will buy all work vehicles from them from now on.

2017 350 base price up to $56 from $48, did the R have a commensurate hike?

No, they got rid of the base and made the extra cooling from the Track Pack option standard.
