Thanks. That's the icing on the cake, that is one of the tracks that has been on my list to go too anyway. It will be exciting to make comparisons of my gt3 and the gt350 on track.

That track is by far the most beautiful one i've seen in the USA, the mountain views surrounding you as you drive are really something. Also they will have an on-site photographer who will be taking photos of the entire event and provide you with a USB of about 200 high quality pictures for you to take home.

Understandable more time would be on me. I would like to spend track time in one of my cars not in a school. Years ago when I was club racing this track did not exist or I would have gone there, it has been on my list to do since I started back doing TT a while back.

If you already have your VIN go to GT350trackattack.com and go ahead and register. Dates do fill up and you will need your VIN to register. You do not need to wait for your invitation to sign up. Stay for a second day if you have the time and $$ and drive the school cars. Boss 302R race cars if I remember correctly. Is a fun time.

What if a car has them and you want to take them off. Easy to remove like any stickers?

While the GT350R is heavier than a 991 GT3, it also has wider tires and more downforce (and is much more stable in high speed corners). While different tracks will often suit one car's strengths over another, you can throw a blanket over the 350R & 991 GT3 -which have been within half a second of eachother on numerous tracks.
IMO, your average joe, or weekend warrior would be faster in the 350R than a GT3, whose lack of rear downforce, rear engine quirks, and delay of the rear steering makes it much trickier to get the last tenths out of. Then again if the average Joe is really slow and takes turns at the same speed in both cars, the straight line advantage of the GT3 would probably make it the faster car...

Also, what's that about RWS introducing rear steer delay? The whole point of electric RWS is to eliminate the mechanical rear steer delay present in other cars. So it's a benefit, not a detractor.

I find it very hard to believe these cars would even be comparable. I was at LS the same day the yellow mustang 350R was there, and it was at least 2 seconds per lap slower, despite me having to upshift to 6th to pass sound (my gps sound thing broke and I did not have turnout pipes). GT3 is a 1:37 car in arms of a hack like me (I've driven LS just ~6 times in my life) with upshifting 2 gears between 4 and 6, while 350R ran 1:40s, judging from the vid, with a good driver (I've seen very fast laps from the same driver). So the miracle did not happen.
