It sounds like the noise is coming from the catalytic converter. Also, there was a recall on the 2015 Mustang GT catalytic converter. I think both cars use the same cats.

I'm trying to. Dropped it to a 3rd dealer this morning. They still haven't looked at it. It's very frustrating. One downside of getting specialized cars from manufacturers like Ford is that most dealers have no experience servicing these cars.

You might want to grab a piece of rubber hose about 3 feet long and 3/4-1" in diameter. You could lay down next to the car and have a buddy rev the motor while you isolate where the noise is coming from with the hose stretching underneath and the other end to your ear. Since you don't have access to a lift, this might help alleviate some of your frustration to know where it is coming from.

Was just offered over $67,000 from a dealer for my Shelby GT350 Track Pack - that would be a quick $10,000 profit (not to mention a free 4,000 miles of driving and a track event) tempting.

Sell it! And buy mine. I'll sell you mine for $63K! Mine is identical to yours.
Actually, can you PM me the dealer info? I'm going to sell mine and get a 2017. Hopefully an R.

I would take that and order a 2017. Track pack included in all. They will likely make more gt350s and R for 2017. So should be easier to get at MSRP.

Get a quote from KBB cash value and affiliated dealers should get in touch.

This GT350 and 'R' situation sucks for so many of us, unless you are willing to pay way over MSRP.
Not even the competition "gets it" really... It's all about that great NA engine among other things.
2 rumors going around:
1.) The new Camaro ZL1 is the new Z28 & ZL1 replacement.
2.) There will be a new Z28, but it will have a pumped-up version of the 3.6 V6 twin turbo from the ATS.
Talked to a guy who's brother-in-law is a Chevy salesman says officially that pre-orders for the ZL1 are good. Unofficially, they are getting a "lukewarm" response at best.
My 2 cents.

I still prefer the GT350 over the next ZL1... I have a C7 Z06 so to me this next ZL1 is meh. Been there, done that so nothing to jump for joy about. I'd choose a GT4 or GT3 over any of the C7's and Camaros anyway. I see my Z06 eventually and maybe soon to be replaced....
