What you get for 57k is a flat plane crank sports coupe that is extremely good looking, highly entertaining to drive, and a track weapon. There is no coupe for under 100k that offers this - not even close.
I got a close look at a red GT4 at the Porsche Armada last weekend, very nice car but it should be closer to 65k. I would never pay 100k for a Cayman.
Sorry but after getting a personal tour of a nice fellow's Z06 at the track and listening to him rant about what a POS it is (both interior and components) and then watching him leave at 1PM because it was in limp mode (in winter). I'm just not impressed - and it's sort of fallen off the map in many regards - whereas the GT350 keeps winning every automotive award possible.

997 GTS is a fantastic car and can be had at a low of 65k and a high of 80k depending on location/condition etc.

Any track events coming up? Best place to catch one - or even the Shelby Track Tour which I believe is still in progress...

I had both a GT350 and GT4 at the same time. I just sold my GT350, the GT4 is a keeper. While the engine is great in the GT350, the mustang is a big car. Also, at the end of the day the mustang is a rental car with a special engine in it. I guess you really dont know how special the Porsche GT cars are until you compare them to the best Mustangs, Corvettes, etc.

I'm going to respectfully disagree with this. Saying a GT4 is a regular Cayman is like saying the GT350 is a regular Mustang GT. The GT4 and the GT350 are very different cars than the base cars they originate from.

Also just scored one for MSRP here in the midwest. The trick is to find a small dealer, ask for the new car sales manager and tell them right off the bat that you are ok with sticker. That's how I sealed the deal on my Grabber Blue 2017 GT350 with electronics package.
Thank god they finally offer it with both!

I stand corrected. I had an allocation at MSRP or so I thought. I thought my order was submitted but I was actually just a place holder while more build requests poured in last week. With one allocation they now adjusted ADM to $20k. Oh well, I guess I will stick to 911's.
