Of course they will make a limited production run with the 5.2 voodoo...after all, they learned the business model from Porsche! They will make the next version even better and charge a higher premium - that is why they they invested the money and time. They will use the FPC technology that they have and improve upon it. They not only aspired to the GT3 as a benchmark, but they seemed to be fascinated by the business model as well.

Luv my gt350 DD!! very visceral, fun at low speeds with the OEM exhaust tuning/switch. IMHO Much rowdier and playful experience at sane street speeds than my gt3. really need a track with gt3 to get to the point where you say - ""YES! that's what i am talking about!"" with GT350, great time just blipping/Heel n Toe on the street - scaring unsuspecting cars and getting thumbs up from young and old car nuts. In the gt3, they just look at me as if i'm a pr!ck

That's why not only will you see a 4+ year production run you will see improvements and tweaks with each year. As long as there is a hi performance Camaro on the loose expect Ford to continue with am answer. I would expect at least 5000 GT350s and 2500 R variants all said and done.

The Focus RS is built in Germany and they are bringing them here for the first time - makes you wonder.

I have a feeling that future GT350's will also be allocated to Europe and China, just like the other Mustang variants. Once they get a taste of some American Muscle, they will want the road course variant ($$$even more money for Ford) since that is the main type of tracking they do in Europe. The sound alone will turn heads everywhere, even if the car is not in sight! After all, the Mustang outsold the 911 in Germany last month even with an $11K premium over the domestic GT!

Expect at least 4 years with coming improvements. I'm sure they will even figure out ramping up supply on the CF wheels.

If the ZL1 had an exotic motor, stunning looks and wasn't based off a cheesy Michael Bay movie I might then like it a little.
