Just curious about lap times for the gt350? What's a descent time at Sebring? RA or COTA?

Also just scored one for MSRP here in the midwest. The trick is to find a small dealer, ask for the new car sales manager and tell them right off the bat that you are ok with sticker. That's how I sealed the deal on my Grabber Blue 2017 GT350 with electronics package.

Thank god they finally offer it with both!

Did you get the white stripes? Torn between that color and the new darker blue.

I got it with the white stripes. They are vinyl so you can always remove them. I don't like stripes on most cars but they look right on the shelby in my opinion.

Congrats on your order you did well - KBB values these cars at 10-13k over msrp (used).

Can't believe that a Mustang is dominating discussion on a P car website. Sacrilegious as it may be. It seems that the Americans have turned the corner and captivated the audience. Would love to drive one and see what all this fuss is about.

a little older than most of you and this car brings me back to the muscle car era. Plain and simple at a cost of 1/3 of my GT3

It's the best sports coupe available in the 100k and under category - by a longshot.

Respectfully disagree. It might be the best under $60k. Under 100k puts you in gt4 or z06 territory.

Jooyoung was kind enough to let me drive both his 350 and z06. The Z06 was on another level in every single way except possibly sound (though it does actually sound amazing as well). Interior, ride, power, etc. You can find lightly used Z06 for what the 350s are selling for. Or even new 1LT package cars. That, to me, is insane. If I cannot find a gt4 allocation, I know where my cash is going.

The GT350 seems a bit overrated to me. At msrp, it fills an excellent niche between 40k awd performance cars and the z06/gt4. Right there with a normal C7 that might even be quicker. At 10-20k over its not even same league as comps. People caught up in the hype-machine.

My dos centavos.

They don't have 4 seats.
I would take a gt4 over gt350 if kids would fit behind the seats.

This is an interesting comment.. Can you tell us more? I was under the impression that the z06 was a bit of a POS, with lots of issues.. Are you saying the gt350 is a lesser car?.. I don't know anything about American cars which is why I'm asking... But I have a secret wish to buy a used z06 just so I can turn it into a shooting brake with the Hennessy modification (don't ask it's my own personal fetish)..

Is this a good car to own outside of the overheating issues?

To be fair, he said sports coup. Not 4-seater.
