Is the seating position lower in the track pack cars? The seating position in tech cars are very high. Same as gt5.0!

Not 100% sure, but my butt tells me that it's about the same. The seating position is no different than a stock Mustang GT with a Recaro seats.

If you buy one of these expecting it to be the same as a Porsche GT car don't waste your time It is what it is and I happen to like what it is. Not for everyone though nor are GT3's.

With typical options, the GT4 is almost double the price, and the GT3 is almost three times the price. Even with the Porsche premium, that is a big price difference. Adjust your expectations to match the price of the car, and you have a winner. Compare the same car to the GT4, or GT3, and you have a mediocre car.

You've got people here buying a Shelby GT350 expecting it to be a rear engine German flat plane crank million dollar hypercar. It's not that - however it is one of the best American cars ever produced and offers one of the most exciting driving experiences currently for sale.

Anyone know where I can find a set of good track pads and steel braided lines? I want to upgrade the suspension, but I can't find any aftermarket suspension upgrades yet. This makes me appreciate our adjustable suspensions for the GT3s and GT4s. Other manufacturers should learn from Porsche.
I had 2. A base and a track pack.

And honestly, I had half a dozen people drive the car. Every single one said it sounded good, but couldn't see what all the hype was. No one was blown away by it. I wanted to be...

Para, you're a track rat it sounds like. This car is just not that awesome as a street car. As a double duty car, sure. But I would not grab the keys over a lot of cars, and so, it's gone.

Fair enough - what other cars are in your garage? I have a feeling it's 918/Enzo/GT3 RS etc....

And let's be honest you rarely keep a car more than 12 months as you stated earlier - the GT350 would of been on it's way to autotrader no matter what...I have a feeling you have lots of funds for car hunting but limited garage space to work with so you shuffle the best quite a bit...

Glad to see more opinions outside of Vice President of GT350 marketing, Para82. I am seriously considering one of these, but won't pay a premium and am also considering used cars in the same general price level. I can wait for the 17's as I'm not in any hurry, so we'll see what happens. I definitely was not impressed with the fit and finish (other than the seat) when sitting in the car, but understand the money was better spent elsewhere to keep at its pricepoint.

Almost relieved to see its not all cotton-candy and butterflies that the press make it out to be.

I really need to test the GT4 - heard great things and everything about it speaks to me until I look at the rear-end and I get upset it looks like a Cayman. That kills me. I already had to throw a Cayman S out of my garage after only 36 hours I hated it that much - though a 3.8 and a 6 speed manual would be intense in that mid engine configuration i'm sure the Cayman S PDK I drove is no comparison to the GT4.

With that you have to admit it's damn impressive the GT350 won the Motor Trend 2016 Performance Car of the Year edging the GT4 and some other great cars. I believe the 2015 winner was the 991 GT3.
