that's really cool. Shocking that anyone other than gear heads can tell the difference between a base mustang and a GT350. I rarely even get a second glance in the RS (and its neon orange with a surfboard across the rear deck).
It's a very pleasant surprise to see American manufacturers putting out compelling automotive products again (ACR, 350R most recently)

Cop drove by my car yesterday in a Cracker Barrel parking lot and was checking my car out for 45 minutes - you should have seen the reaction on his face when I revved the motor up. He was a Mustang guy and by the end of the conversation he gave me a "pass" in his area to stretch it out! I took him up on it!! LOL

If any of you are near Chi-town... they have a magnetic R and a yellow Tech Pack on display at Mccormick Center in this year's auto show.
And there's a white Ford GT too.... and a cool modded white 991- a '14 Turbo Vorsteiner VRT version.

Right now there are over 300 GT350s for sale on Auto Trader and its only February 2016.
There are and have been a number of American cars very worthwhile for track duty and if you weren't aware here is the new flash.... C6 Z06 to the Boss 302 to the ZR1 to the ACR Vipers to the Camaro 1LE to the Z28 to the new C7 and C7 Z06. Even the Caddy CTSV which hauls a$$.
I still get plenty of looks and thumbs up in my Ingot Silver Boss 302 LS and its 4 years old already.

There are currently 281 listed on cars.com. I see 272 on Autotrader. It's not a rare car.
Same thing happened with the Camaro Z/28 and Alfa 4C. Those who just had to have the latest and greatest first paid over list. After a few months they were lucky to sell at sticker.

Many of those listed especially on cars dot com are presold units.... they're not rare but they are in very high demand. Start calling them one by one... they're either spoken for or have a big markup if still available. For example, Autonation dealers in FL have sold out all of their 2016 and 2017 allocations already.

I don't where you are getting over 300 from. I see only 86 when I searched in autotrader. And only 19 out of 86 have track package. I've called all 19 dealerships before I bought mine on Saturday. The cheapest one had $5K over. Why do you exaggerate figures? If you are going lie, at least do it so that you don't get caught.

1. Most of the listings on cars.com are not real. If you call most of them, it's already sold or ordered by someone.
2. I get 71 results when I search Autotrader right now. Any distance, 2015-2016 GT350. My guess is that your 300 results include Shelby GT. Try filtering your results by having only New cars. See picture below. Are you 100% sure your 300 results only include the new GT350? Or does it include Shelby GT?
If you are a serious buyer and have been shopping recently, you will agree that cars with a track package is very rare. I had to fly out to Arkansas from Cali to get one. I agree that by next year, there will be lot more for sale for MSRP or less. But right now, the supply is less than 80 and less than 19 for track pack.

Well...if you owned one then you would understand - I am shocked as well. As I said in a previous post, my GT350 gets as much or more attention than my GT3. You can't blame people for appreciating a really nice car and try not to get caught up in valuing a car on its sticker price alone.
Even my 15 year old son would point out how many people were taking pictures and video of the GT350 relative to the other cars I own - he really got a kick out of girls honking at us, especially in other Mustangs. Man, ya gotta give Ford credit for creating a great car that won't break the bank and delivers on the track.
Funny...there is a video in another thread in this forum that has all of these supercars in Bahrain. The only American Marque I see in the video is a red Shelby - they are highly regarded around the world as well.

I am high up on my dealers list. Hoping for an R allocation. It's at MSRP.

2016 allocation is done. All Rs are spoken for. There is a rumor saying Ford is building two factories to double the production for 2017 model. But still that's only 1000 to 2000 Rs at best. I'm pretty sure Rs will be above MSRP even next year. Non-Rs will have plenty of supply. Hopefully you have a good relationship with your Ford dealers. This is my first Ford ever bought. I gave them deposit for a Focus RS and next Raptor. So cross my fingers.
